I bought this mat for two of my Frenchie as it’s getting cold at night. I put this mat on top of my sofa and my dogs love to sleep on it when I am working. It’s very fluffy and soft. Most importantly, its water proof and the cover can be washed separately! Rg

I ordered this for my dog crate. I use a divider for my puppy so I needed a thin pad and this will work for what I need. It for my crate perfectly and I could get the divider over it no problem. Pros: Case washes up nicely, seems other wise well made, works for a thin but soft crate mat. Case top is soft with a bottom made to not slide around. I ordered a smaller one, it'll fit inside a standard pillowcase. I'll do that because the fizzy top is too tempting to chew on for a puppy. Cons: This is not a thick orthopedic dog bed at all. This crate mat is a very nice, well made mat. I took off a star because it was advertised as being orthopedic. It is NOT at all! I have an active Doberman that loves her comforts and I got this for her to have a nicer crate mat and for her joints. It is a nice and comfortable mat, but it provides absolutely NO support for her joints. I have a true orthopedic bed from my last male that had arthritis and it is a VAST difference. My hand goes all the way down to the bottom and I'm not even pressing hard. No support what-so-ever. This would be a five star product if they just labeled it as a nice crate mat. Our dog loves how soft it is. Just don't recommend for anyone actually looking for an orthopedic mat. ... show more

This bed is very thin. If you are going to put it directly on the floor, I don't think it offers enough padding, for a large, fat dog. Like mine. However, as a bed topper, it does the trick. I can not get the crease from packaging out of it. That kind of annoys me, but I am sure the dog cares less! lol. Nice subtle gray color. Nice materials. Not sure about the tourmaline threads, but we can go with that. I've laid down on it and it is nice and warm, although my joints did not feel particularly comforted. It's a dog bed.
