This couch has been perfect for what we needed it for -- comfortable and attractive seating in a TV room that gets use maybe a couple evenings a week, and an extra bed when the number of guests exceeds our guest room accommodations. Used regularly for almost six months, it is holding up beautifully. The bonus was the outstanding customer service we received when we inquired about swapping out the dark wood legs on the model we selected for the light wood legs we had seen on another model. When we first asked, they told us they didn't have any extra in stock and invited us to circle back in mid-December. When we did so, they responded that the legs were indeed in stock and that they would ship to us within the week. As someone who was moving into a studio, I spent many days looking for a futon that didn’t break the bank but would be fairly comfortable to sit on for a good number of hours (I watch a ton of movies, tv shows and play quite a few video games) and would also be nice to sleep on whenever I have someone over. Easy assembly, it’s been pretty comfortable so far, and I slept on it the first night since it was the first piece of furniture I could assemble. A bit firm so don’t expect the softest sofa but for this price I’m more than happy with this purchase! And I absolutely love the color, it makes my place stand out a bit more. We liked the color and ease of assembly. At first the sofa was very stiff and a little uncomfortable. It has either relaxed a bit or we've become used to it. It looks great in our Airbnb suite. We did purchase the extra warranty based off other reviews.

I thought both sides were pretty equal but the "top" part is shorter and once you lay it down- its not very big for people to sleep on. I bought it for company coming, hoping they could sleep on it. Wanted to return it, but it's a pain once you've already assembled it. It is a comfortable place to sit, just not sleep. The sides are a little wobbly as well but the rest seems sturdy. ... show more

Pros: aesthetically pleasing, nice color options. THAT’S IT… Cons: - Packaging is a joke. The box was hanging on to dear life and was partially open when it arrived. Not surprisingly the sofa was damaged during shipping. A tear and stain on one corner of one of the sections. -It is unevenly stuffed. When you run a hand over, it like there are a bunch of little tumors inside. It’s LUMPY. The more times I sit on it, the lumpier it gets! -It is also the most uncomfortable couch I have ever had or sat on. What does it feel like? Imagine if you had laundry tossed over a metal bench that’s also uneven to begin with. I’m not being dramatic. My butt actually hurts from sitting on it. I’m really hoping for a refund… or else I just flushed 300 bucks down the drain. I really can’t use this and I’m going to have to throw it away because there is no way where sending it back would be feasible (boxes damaged) and lugging it all the way to UPS to ship it is not something I’m able to do. Overall this has caused me quite a bit of stress because I don’t know what to do and I’m just waiting/hoping to get my refund ... show more

Great couch, I think it looks amazing in my space. Like some of the other reviews have stated, it is definitely on the sturdy side (which is fine with me). I’ll probably buy a little pad to go with it if I ever have guests sleep on it. The price was good and I feel like it looks more expensive than it is. Assembly was very easy, although it was very heavy getting it up a stairwell by myself - it’s doable alone but I definitely recommend having someone there to help. This is very pretty in person and the fabric has a good feel yet seems substantial. The back is finished in a black fabric and I think everyone would prefer it be finished with the same fabric as the rest of the couch BUT I have to say it is NICELY finished and doesn’t look at all messy or shoddy. It’s Small This is a petite couch not a huge lounging couch for the whole family. That having been said, three people (180, 120, 115 and 5’4”- 6’) can comfortably sit and watch a movie or chat over coffee or tea. It’s Convertible The back folds down to create a decent-sized sleeping area for one person - both arms are removable It’s Low The seat and back are lower than most couches but that is what I wanted. I have big windows in the living room and the previous couch blocked almost half of them - defeating the purpose! It’s Firm Some have commented that it’s too firm, but I love the firmness and don’t find it to be too hard at all. Color The light grey is an oatmeal/grey that’s a warm neutral and looks just liked I hoped it would. The only con is that one of the arms does not attach as firmly to the couch as the other one. The hardware and arm on both side looks identical but one is less steady. Hopefully there won’t be an issue with it in the future. I’m giving four stars because of one arm being unsteady and also because I only just received it and have no idea how it will hold up. Hope this helps! ... show more
