Someone can simply push slightly on this and it will bend and break. I returned it immediately however the seller does not provide a prepaid label and they give instructions saying if it cost more than $30 to return to contact them. Its ridiculous. This door was a great buy. It snapped into place, it has a locking door and the flap is easy for my dogs to get through. It matches my current patio door and it looks like it was made for it.

So far it’s good but let me tell you gurlll…. That film tape is a nightmare to get off as they cover most parts in it, then assemble. If you have ADHD, you’ll love it!! LoL Nicely made..

I purchased the large size door for a puppy which will be a medium sized dog when full grown, if the door is purchased for a large dog this door probably wouldn’t hold up or be adequate for that size of a dog. I also had to purchase wider and thicker weather strips to fill in the gaps between the doors, the weather stripping that was sent with the door was very narrow and thin.

The swinging door is left to fly open and closed with no protection against wind, cold air or hot air. The other types of doors I have purchased have a magnetic strip on the bottom of the access flap that allows for open and close of the flap door as the dog goes in and out . This door will ruin my utility bills, the flap hangs open all day! The frame is super solid, too bad they leave the flap open.

The dog door flapper opening is flimsy, it is not a hard plastic and doesn't stay closed causing wind to blow it open. Anything could crawl though including bugs. Beware of seller cause when I tried to return this for a refund it has been very difficult and the shipping is very expensive!
