    • Well built planer, easy to use, good price.....
Shipped quickly and simple to "set up" (which is not much). The stand is easy to assemble, but it takes some time and patience. I did not use the stand, but used the rubber feet on a piece of granite. There was no vibration or movement of the planer at all. The first thing I did was to bring down a 7/8" piece of Bocote to 1/2". When turned on, it makes about as much noise as a table or circular saw, but when it is cutting wood, it gets considerably louder, but still nothing outrageous. In about 10-12 passes, I had a 1/2" board perfectly smooth. The BEST part of the machine are the infeed and outfeed rollers. They grab and move the board for you, so there is no need to push and hold the board. Just get it started and let it go. I planed a 4' board, and got no snipe. It is light enough to lift and move as needed. Great little addition to my shop. ... show more

This works good, it did blow the breaker (and wouldn't reset) the second day we used it. We ordered a replacement breaker from Amazon, replaced the blown one and it has worked great since. No complaints. Easy to maintain when things break, easy to find the parts as well.

My first planer. very easy to learn to use. Great value. Came with extra set of blades, drive belt, blade set up tools, chip deflector if not using vacuum. Not nearly as noisy as i expected. Over all i am very pleased.

I have to tell that this planer is very heavy duty. Came with extra blades, belt, brushes, etc. ready to use out of the box except assembly of stand. Stand is solid but found it kind of low for my height. In my shop I like to move equipment around so I raised the stand by 7" with locking wheels. This works like a charm when done I store it away. If you are looking for a good planer this is it, very well packaged and delivery was quick. All my friends have DeWalt planers and brand names but I believe this one does a better job. This product is awesome except for one thing The stand that comes with it is extremely small and you have to bend over to do your woodworking which is a bit of a pain but other than that this is a fantastic product I would definitely buy it again and will recommend it to friends

When I received the planer box was damaged. After looking it over I found a corner damaged. I tried using to make sure it worked and not planing offset. Surprising it function like it should. So I'm keeping it and have it a 3 star. I'm not a wood worker, I using this for small side projects.

Works pretty well for the hobby shop. Has a little snipe at the end sometimes but not always. If you take it slow and easy does a nice job. Overall very pleased.
