Exceptional value for the price. I'm only planning on using this occasionally and its perfect for my application. Drills 1/2" holes in steel beams without a problem. Does not have reverse so you have to be careful when breaking though. As others have mentioned, this is a large heavy drill.

The drill itself is very good. I did make the mistake to not realize it is 50 HZ not 60 hz. Blows fuses constantly. and the chuck that comes with it wobbles.

Surprised how well this worked for the cost. The ways were a little tight and I had to rethread The slots for the handles but it functions fine. Used it to cut 1/2” to 11/2” holes in 3/8ths angle with annual cutters. Cut over 200 holes without issue. Cutt about 20 virticaly and magnetic held. I kept it clean and went slow. ... show more

Given the price and my own experience with overseas products, this exceeded my expectations, esp for the price. It did require some tinkering, namely the guides that allow it to move up and down are finicky and the tool was dropping randomly. This was fixed by tweaking the set screws but they are beyond finicky. Also the jacobs chuck kept falling out so i just drilled and tapped a hole in the tool set screwed the chuck in place. No problems since. That amount of work made it worth buying, instead of an 800$ brand name equivalent. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Drill works great and the magnet in the drill is good. The drill and the cutters drilled holes (8) in a 1" plate like hot butter. I used cutting fluid kept the bit clean. Thought the speed was to fast but worked very well! Overall I was very impressed with the hole set up. ... show more

This mag drill is one heckuva machine... especially for the money! It is heavy, but the electromagnet holds very well. I bought this to drill thru frame rails to install an old plow on an old truck. It worked great! My only negative thought is that it runs a little on the fast side for drilling steel, but it works great with adequate drilling/cutting oil and a little patience when drilling with larger bits.     • Buy Annularcutter arbor separately if needed.

This is the alternative amazon offered when the one in the cart sold out. I thought it was compatible with annularcutter's. I will it would have had a tapered Morse arbor included or note stating to order separately. Due to time crunch I purchased a Dewalt for three times the price, because shipping was faster than the arbor to make this work. Really sucked paying $60 to return. ... show more
