    • 2015 Chrysler Town and Country Thermostat
This is a perfect OEM match for 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. I went to purchase from Chrysler dealer but the original Mopar was on back order until early March. Got the Mopar part number from dealer and ordered from Amazon. Was receiving intermittent P0128 code. I could clear the code but it would after a few days. Following youtube video for procedure was very helpful. I drained the radiator and reused the coolant which was changed a couple of months earlier. I used a Ulift 55000 vacuum lift to check pressure and refilled the coolant. Cleared the code and successfully tested system with positive results. Code has not returned after four weeks and heating system works like a champ. ... show more

    • Fixed the van from running too cold
I had two vans at one time: 2014 Town & Country and a 2014 Caravan, which had the identical thermostat part. The caravan ran at the middle engine temp, while the Town & Country ran a bit colder, few ticks below the middle. Engines need to run right near middle to be most efficient, and cars will likely burn more gas if it’s running a little cooler (PCM will tell it to throw more gas to get it to normal operating temp). Changed my thermostat with this Mopar Thermostat and it’s night and day difference! Now the Town & Country runs just a slight tick below middle. Most people don’t know that if the car runs colder, it’s a sign of a failing thermostat because it remains open, letting too much coolant to circulate the engine. Another sign of a bad thermostat is when it remains closed and the engine overheats (because not enough coolant is circulating). The former is something that won’t alarm most people until they realize their car is eating up more than expected gas. It’ll affect your wallet in the long run. Install was not as simple for the average joe because of the hose bracket was hard to remove. I ended up taking the thermostat off before removing the hose. Alternatively I recommend getting one of those specialty tools that holds open the hose clamp. ... show more
