Excellent controller, and of course since it's OEM it fits perfectly. Be aware however, it's not easy to install ! Must remove the dash around the radio, and then get to the near impossible task of installing the mounting screws. Came with everything I needed to install Oem trailer brakes on my 14 ram 1500 you do have to have the dealer sync it to the truck but other than that very nice product the only issue was installing the screws in the bracket so I just zip-tied it on the truck and it's tight and no vibrations

    • Works as expected but frustrating to install and expensive to activate.
The product is great and completely integrated with the dashboard displays but the installation is difficult due to the location under the dashboard. I ended up drilling the bracket and using bolts and lock nuts. Also, the dealer has to enable the unit which cost $125. Ouch.

    • Exactly what I needed
This was exactly the part I needed, and the dealer couldn’t get it. Ordered it here, had it two days later. Installed 90 minutes after I got it. It’s not an easy install. There is a good YouTube video on how to do it. After it’s in you still need to go to the dealer and get it programmed into your truck’s computer. It looks and works like it came with your truck from the factory once it’s all done though. ... show more

Install tool about an hour, 90% of that was getting the bracket screws tight. Other than that, everything plugged in fine and dealer programmed BCM for $120.00. Worth the extra money to have it all integrated with the truck.
