The media could not be loaded. This cool giant light has some decent feature like the ability to be dimmed and a remote control. The remote and adjustable features make it easy to customize the amount of light in any room. We stuck it in the basement but I think this ceiling light is perfect for any room like bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms. This light was a great size and was easy to install. The remote control is an added convenience which worked flawlessly while it worked. However, the light just started flickering and having a strobe effect after 1.5 years. I cannot recommend a hard wired light that lasts such a short time.

Looks fantastic compared to the old fluorescent light we replaced. Installation was a breeze. I did it myself in less than 5 minutes as a slightly handy mom. I love that you install the base that includes the wiring and the full light just clicks into place essentially. The light is very lightweight too, so it is not hard to hold it up to install at all. Way way easier than other lights I have replaced. I also really like that it dims and the color is adjustable. I only detract one star because I was hoping for a ore natural looking color to the light since it was adjustable. It really isn't. The warm is too warm, and the cold is too cold. I leave it on natural but it isn't really. Nevertheless, still an improvement over what I had and I can make it pretty dim if needed. I would still buy this light again to replace a fluorescent in the right situation. It is a good value. ... show more

First, the lighting gets a poor to fair rating. Second is that it is really, and for the size, the amount of light given off sucks. There is nothing easy about getting the fixture to "lock" in place. We tried a dozen times before we got a partial lock.
