Got this for my mother-in-law, who wanted to ride with us but was worried about falling or being able to keep up. It requires some assembly and some parts of the instructions weren't very clear, but if you've got a decent level of mechanical ability you should be able to get it put together. There is a learning curve to riding an assisted bike, but the controls are intuitive enough for her to understand and she's enjoying it enough that she sometimes goes out on her own without us. One slightly odd choice, there's a nice bright light for riding at night, but only reflectors on the back. I'm sure it was a budget decision and it's not difficult or expensive to get battery powered bike tail lights, but with the big battery powering everything else, it's a bit strange having to think about a separate battery for those. ... show more

It takes a little bit to assemble it, but it works great. Got it for my brother who can't drive a car anymore after an accident. So for him having independence again is everything. He is not a little man either, and the bike has no problem pulling him.

It's a nice bike for leisure rides in the neighborhood or in a park. It's amazing that no one has come up with better balanced design for Handling as it is comfortable.

    • Poor quality stop working bad customer service
I wrote this email April 16th and still haven't gotten anything resolved they have sent replacement part some which arent the right part and bike still isn't working. I have informed them of this. Sent last email on June 14 with no response. I would not recommend this bike to anyone nor the company due to there poor customer service on their guarantee. On November 9th, 2024 just a little over 5 months ago, I purchased the MOONCOOL Electric Tricycle for Adults, 350W 36V Electric Trike Motorized Three Wheel Electric Bicycle, 7 Speeds 3 Wheels Adult Electric Tricycle with Large Basket and Charger model # ZT-E26-BK for my sons 16th birthday. We received the bike on November 18, 2024 and was put together and started being used a week later. So a little over 4 months of using all of a sudden this week it started not working. After spending over a thousand dollars on the purchase and shipping of this bike, I would not have expected for it to stop working after 4 months of usage. I would like to have this bike replaced fully as soon as possible or a full refund including what I paid for shipping. ... show more

Very nice bike. Assembly took a few hours. Instructions included with the bike were a bit lacking, so go to U-tube for assembly instructions. Also, had a minor issue and contacted seller and they responded right away and fixed the issue. A+++ on customer support.

    • Takes some work and wrong piece
This definitely takes some work to put together and one of the nuts sent was not correct. It needs to be open for a wire to go through and sent closed nuts. Have contacted the seller with no response. Also, when putting the chain together you may want to have one of the special tools to take off the magic connector because if you put it on wrong you are screwed! ... show more

All fasteners have nylon lock nuts. Controller is in a box in the frame, wiring is also in the frame. Assembly book is perfect.

I don’t even know if the bike works yet. I’m still trying to put it together. I don’t know how you send somebody a bike that is so complex with all of the screws, parts, and pieces just thrown in the box together unnamed with no direction? We don’t even know what parts go with what. We literally had to go back to the trash to find screws, nuts, and bolts. Once again ridiculous. ... show more
