I read a review a few months ago of all the products to whiten teeth, and this was the one I bought for my husband. I tried a different brand for myself, and was quite unhappy with how the paste (very heavy on the baking soda apparently) stayed together and stayed on the brush. It was always an ordeal. Now that hubby's teeth are white, he's stopped using this, but I started just to try it, and was very pleased that it is much better than the other kind I tried. It stays together wonderfully well, and also stays nicely on my tooth brush, so there's a big win over the over brand (which I won't name) that I bought initially for myself. It also really seems to be whitening my teeth, which is another big plus. The only thing I don't like, and this is just me, is that when I'm brushing, little dark flecks fall into my white sink. I wash them off of course, but I didn't have that with other white toothpastes. Since this has activated charcoal in it, that's why it's dark, and I know I can't expect them to change that. But it is a little extra step I have to take to clean up after that I didn't have before. Anyway, A+ for all they've done to make this a useful and easy to use tooth whitener! The tube also looks hella chic in my bin of toothpastes and flosses by the sink. Nice design. A+ ... show more

I love this toothpaste I use this product every morning and night. It really makes your teeth feel amazing and clean. The only thing I have bad to say, is that the tube feels half full.

My husband and I were looking for a new toothpaste. We always like charcoal toothpastes and decided to give this one a try. The packaging is really nice and aesthetically pleasing. I will say, the cap does not completely close or snap per se which is kind of aggravating. My main gripe with this toothpaste though, is the AFTERTASTE. It is rough. My husband and I have pretty great dental hygiene so there is no reason for the aftertaste after using this toothpaste to taste like literal throw up. I'm not sure if it's because of the fluoride or what... but if you do not immediately rinse your mouth out as soon as the finished brushing, you'll be in for a rough time... I asked my husband if it was only me but he notices it too. We floss, tongue scrape, and brush for hygiene reference. We'll probably be looking for another toothpaste after the tube runs out and giving the other tube away. ... show more

I have tried Charcoal paste before. It did not taste good and I didn't like seeing the black paste in every nook and cranny. This is different: the taste isn't bad, it rinses out easily and I was surprised that one application could whiten that way. I will definitely order again.
