I bought these for 108 pieces of 1x8x6 that a contractor needed when I had siding replacement at my house. Was easy to screw in to the wall, just be sure to use a level. They haven't budged an inch since I installed them and have done a great job and holding ALOT of wood (also put big walnut slabs on them too). I bought these to get all of my wood boards out of the corner of my garage. These hangars were easy to install and work great. I hung mine horizontally on my garage wall versus stacking vertically. Have had mine up since November of 23, barely two months. Went to get some boards down today and the entire rack of lumber fell over 10 ft, damaging my shop furniture, ruining a 6 ft ladder that was in the landing zone, breaking a light rack, amd warping my radial arm saw when it all crashed down on it. If anyone had been standing there when the lumber fell it could have literally killed them. Notice the welds. What welds? The breaks are as clean as a saw cut. Notice the material thickness.
