I bought this VFL for its power switch cover. It rotates to completely cover the power switch to protect from accidental turn on and subsequent battery drain. This is a common problem with this style of cylinder VFL. The reason for 4 stars is because the other problem with this type of cylinder VFL is the aluminum body and threads. Repeated screwing of the base to remove or change batteries wears out the threads and then it will no longer hold tight.
