  • The side glass on this case is AWESOME. It's like a refrigerator door..
Color: Black X3
My motherboard died, and I needed a replacement. The only option I could find was an ATX board, which meant I also needed a new case. I went with the best-looking one within my budget, and to my surprise, it turned out to be a great choice. This case is incredibly easy to work with and well-built. My absolute favorite feature is the glass side panel—it works like a refrigerator door. Just pull the handle to open it, and when you let go, it closes on its own. It is so satisfying. No screws to fumble with, no struggling to slide it back into place. I tinker with my systems a lot, and I have a bad habit of leaving the side panels off, convincing myself I’ll put them back on later… but I never do. This case completely solves that problem, and for once, I’m actually excited about having a fully assembled computer. The top panel, where the buttons are located, is also really well-designed—everything is flush, and there’s a switch to turn the LED lights on and off. Cable management is a dream, and as you can see, even with my laziness, my system looks pretty clean—aside from the smudges on the glass! ... show more

  • UPDATED: One of the 140mm fans doesn’t work
Color: Black X3
I haven’t been able to build a pc in over 10 years, so I was pretty excited to put one together. I ordered the Montech X3 Mesh & I was initially pretty happy with it… until after I spent several days putting everything together & discovered that the front middle fan isn’t spinning, although the LEDs work. As far as everything else, I think it’s a great case for the sale price of $50. UPDATE: After contacting the seller Skytech, they offered me a partial refund because of the non-working fan. They also gave me an email address for the manufacturer Montech. After communicating with them via email, they sent me a replacement fan which arrived today. I haven’t tried replacing the defective fan yet, but I’m trusting that the new one will work. Overall, an excellent customer service experience in dealing with both companies. Changing my rating to add another star 👍 UPDATE #2: Montech did send me another fan, but it’s not the same one. It’s a 2-wire instead of 3-wire (which means it can’t be monitored/controlled by the mobo or software) & the LED lights are different enough that it’s noticeable. Not the end of the world & I do appreciate the fact that they sent one. Negatives: •Took 1 week to receive, which is a bit much •1 fan doesn’t spin (replaced)* •Fans are LED & not addressable RGB as the pictures might lead some to believe (although this is pretty clearly stated). •Fans have older style Molex connections that are all daisy chained together. •Cabling is fairly inelegant & comes held together with metal twist ties. •No PC speaker. •Materials aren’t the greatest. The gauge of the metal is pretty thin & a bit flimsy. •No rubber grommets in the cabling passthroughs •It’s perhaps a bit small for some ATX builds Positives: •Although the geometric aesthetic seems heavily “inspired” by Fractal brand cases, it’s a nice looking case regardless. •Pretty quiet at idle considering the 6 original case fans, the 2 additional fans I added & a 3 fan GPU •Good, simple design of the side panel, which is easily removable by just lifting it off, although the nylon ribbon loop used as a handle might turn some people off. •Side panel is tempered glass instead of plexiglass/plastic. •Small-ish mid tower case, but ATX motherboard, top mounted radiator in a push/pull configuration, 3 140mm, 5 120mm fans, a Corsair RM750 PSU & a 303mm Radeon 6650xt 3 fan GPU all fit in a nice looking package (although connecting the wiring & cable management is a bit of a chore). •Good airflow •It has a decent magnetic dust filter on the top, although that’s actually not great for airflow & will actually trap dust & restrict the hot air that you want to exhaust from your case. •I’ve seen some reviews that complain about the rear expansion card slots being the cheap kind that you have to bend or cut to remove, but the ones I removed when installing a GPU were secured with a slot & screw (much better). •Although the specs say it officially supports GPU’s up to 303mm I managed to squeeze in an MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 3080 which is 323mm with maybe even a couple of mm’s to spare. Conclusion: *After living with this case for about a month & the experiences that I had with both the seller & manufacturer, I’m adding the 5th star to my rating. It’s more of a budget case so you can’t expect perfection, but for $50 it’s an extremely good case & continues to perform very well. ... show more

  • Montech X3 Mesh (White)
Color: White X3
This review would've gotten a 5 if they would've told us how to get the RGB fans lights to work, I eventually figured it out after I noticed something was off. Pros: Light, the window glass is useful, easy set up and cable management is easy to mess with. My build holds a AS Rock B850 Steel Legend, Thermalright Assassin King 120, and a SAMA White 850W Power Supply. All fight perfectly. Cons: The RGB would not work even after connecting the all the molex connectors as it came all together plugged already. What they didn't tell you is that there is a MOLEX that only has THREE PIN that is not connected to anything. So just remove that and then boom RGB works. Also my top front fan makes a screwing noise at first but eventually fades to silence after a couple of minutes (think they either gave me a lose or tight fan but whatever just usually just spin it with my finger and the noise goes away also). Overall: If you want a budget case, this is a good case to go for. Just remember to read what I sad about the MOLEX connectors for the RGB to work. ... show more

  • Elegante y con buen flujo de aire
Color: XR Wood Black

  • Great budget case!
Color: Black X3
This is a perfect case for a budget build. There is plenty of room for cable management and the case was easy to work with. There is plenty of airflow.
