I got this speaker for working in a warehouse. I can hear it over conveyors just fine and it makes the time pass much faster. I just got a new phone (without aux) and couldn't play music in my car without bluetooth. I took this speaker on a 20 hour one-day drive and it lasted the whole trip. You won't shake any walls with the volume, but it is definitely loud enough for out in the yard, on the road, or near machinery. I've only had it for a few weeks, but have not had any issues with battery or recharging yet as others have mentioned. But I will definitely update if I do, that was the one aspect I was worried about. ... show more

I've never written a review before, but I've tried other brands that were comprable to the Monster Rocker Sport 270. All had good sound but on the other the FM tuner would hardly pick up any local stations. The Monster has great sound & reception when kicking back around the campfire

Listing stated the speaker is loud and has a 24 hour battery life. This speaker has very low volume, even with volume all the way up. The battery went dead after 8 hrs. And the speaker will only charge to 75%. On top of that, I can’t get it returned because the only return option is to have UPS bring the return shipping label, instead of just letting me print one out.sn adult has to be present whenever UPS arrives. I’m not home during the day. So, how can I return it?! Worse transaction and return I’ve encountered on Amazon. ... show more

For the price I paid I would have expected the volume to be better. I used this for my daughters softball team walk up songs and they could barely hear the speaker even when I was sitting right behind the plate.
