I purchased these open-ear headphones for around $97, and overall, I have mixed feelings. They nail the aesthetics and comfort, but the user experience with the controls leaves a lot to be desired. The Good: Premium Build: The mirror finish on both the charging case and the earpieces looks fantastic. They definitely feel more expensive than they are and have a high-end, sleek appearance. Comfort: The earpieces are very lightweight. I can wear them for long periods without any ear fatigue, which is exactly what I wanted from an open-ear design. Performance: The sound quality is decent for open-ear headphones—clear enough for daily use. The tap sensors are responsive and generally operate as intended. The Bad: Tedious Volume Controls: This is my biggest gripe. Volume is controlled by a single tap, which means if you need to adjust the volume significantly (like turning it way down), you have to tap over and over again. It’s annoying and not intuitive. Accidental Inputs: Because you have to tap so many times for volume, it’s very easy to accidentally trigger other functions, like play/pause, which interrupts your listening. Maybe a slide control for volume would be better. No Feedback on Assistant: The instructions say to hold for 3 seconds to trigger the voice assistant, but there is no indicator sound or cancellation tone to let you know it worked. You're just left guessing if the command went through. Verdict: If you prioritize style and comfort, these are a solid choice. However, for a $97 price tag, I expected the gesture controls to be smarter and more user-friendly. If the manufacturer could update the touch scheme, these would be perfect. ... show more
