This speaker arrived about two weeks ago and I started using it right away for my indoor gatherings. The sound is incredibly clear with strong bass that really stands out without any crackling noise. When I turn up the volume to full power, the 60 watts deliver rich audio that fills my entire living room. Pairing with my devices happens instantly and the wireless connection remains stable even when I move to different rooms. The waterproof feature has proven useful even during winter months. I accidentally spilled water on it but it kept playing without any issues. The IPX8 rating means I never worry about moisture or accidental splashes anymore. Wanted to have it for at least a week to form a good opinion on this speaker before posting a pros/cons review. To save time, anyone wondering if it's worth the money? Short answer: yes Pros: •Good volume •Good weighty feel •Drop & water resistant •Easy to setup right out the box Cons: •Simple ineffectual equalizer •Weak bass •Mids too high •VERY POOR battery life Detailed Breakdown: For the price point this is a very good speaker. It lacks all the high end features associated with more pricey speakers (I.E. an actually functional equalizer, app control etc) but what it lacks in features it makes up for in raw volume. This will very effectively fill a small room (bathroom, small bedroom, car etc) but it struggles with larger rooms above 100sqft or noisy atmospheres. It'll still work but you lose a lot of the audio fidelity and end up with kind of mushy audio if that makes sense. Due to its lack of any actual equalizer at higher volumes the mid range completely drowns out the bass and it is even worse with the built-in equalizer that the speaker comes with. With that active there is zero bass entirely, completely replaced by mid & trebel. Related to the last point this speaker is (unsurprisingly) very well suited for podcasts, audio books, and YT content that is vocal heavy. It has atrocious battery life. Not sure why it's advertised as "x amount of hours" because realistically it'll last about 5 hours at max volume, 6 to 7 at medium volume. It also takes seemingly FOREVER to charge and does not support rapid charging of any kind so look forward to charging it longer than you actually use it. And if you're asking "if this thing is so bad, how do you square recommending people buy it?" And that's simple, it has a sturdy shock resistant design, it's water resistant, and for $60 is very well suited for vocal heavy content.
