I already have a few smaller Bluetooth speakers but looking for a loud one for my home gym so got hold of this. * As the name suggests the speaker gives monstrous sound. * Speaker design is very different from other speakers I have seen. Sound also comes from the middle rod and around that area along with outer main speakers. * Sound is very clear and loud. * Simple and quick Bluetooth pairing. * I tried USB driver for playing music. Still have some old mp3 in my computers so loaded that into the USB drive and plugged in. Once you change the mode to USB it will start playing them. You can only play and pause. No option for skip song in USB mode. I think that is the same for the SD card. * You can also use the USB port for phone charging at the regular speed. * Speakers detects which mode is available and switch to that one. If 2 modes available like USB & Bluetooth it starts with Bluetooth. If only one mode available it change mode even you try to switch it. * All info for pairing and mode information is printed on the backside of the handle which is very handy. * A good buy for House parties, Home Gym sessions, small gathering. * Type C charging port so that's also a plus as no extra cable required for charging(Phone & Speaker can be charge from the same cable). * Comes with a mic and wire for that not tried that yet but the quality looks good. ... show more

I have an old Nyne Bass that I love, but it's not quite the speaker for listening to music when I am working on projects outdoors. It is bass-heavy at low volume, not convenient to carry around, and not waterproof. And while it gets plenty loud, I want something that gets louder if I want. It will continue reside in my kitchen as a speaker for my Echo Flex. In side by side comparison, this speaker is not quite as loud and doesn't fill out the mids/bass as well. There is also some barely discernable clipping at max volume. Not enough to be annoying, but it's there. Don't get me wrong, it is a great speaker with nice bass response. And it is probably loud enough for the vast majority of people. It seems very well made and very convenient to carry around. For me, it wasn't the upgrade I was hoping for and so back it goes.     • Hesitated… but don’t regret the purchase NOW
I was skeptical at first because tech is changing so quickly and by the time I research and make a decision to actually get something, something new pops up. But wow! So glad I got this before changing my mind. The sound quality is superb! It may not be that boom box you’re looking for but it makes up for that in crispness of the sound. You can actually hear the music!! Imagine that. I played it all day long at 50-60% volume with no issues. I was zipping around on my jon boat playing it (full volume when we were cruising) and Everyone commented on the sound quality too for being outside. By the end of the afternoon it was down pouring rain. Everyone was scrambling to get things covered and electronics hidden, yet this thing kept on playing in this summer rain storm. I was by this time shuttling people back to the house on the jon boat in the monsoon! It handled the rain like a champ. I was very impressed with the sound, battery, ergonomics of the handle, and waterproofing. For the value this is a great buy! ... show more

I was needing a new speaker and wanted to upgrade from my jbl flip 4. I stumbled across this one on Amazon and man I love this thing! Of course the directions are to fully charge it before you use it. I tried it just to make sure it worked, and then shut it off and charged it for a few hours. Sound quality is great! Acoustics are nice and you get a pretty good bass out of it. The battery life is the thing that sold me the most! I’ve used it at a couple of bbqs, parties, and mainly for the beach. Light weight and easily portable. The only thing I disliked about this, I bought it at full price before it went on say for prime day and like half off 😑😑 lol but oh well! This speaker is perfect for the outdoors. Just got back from camping ⛺️ at Lake Isabella, in California. We had this speaker at full volume and it didn’t disappoint. The design makes the sound like it’s coming from all around. I own the JBL extreme 2 and this Monster blows it out of the water. JBL is a great speaker, don’t get me wrong. Monster is louder with a bit more bass and the battery 🔋 life is fantastic. Like every Bluetooth speaker must give time to break in. Design, sound, battery and the PRICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(We noticed that the sound was better when we hung it and placed it in the middle of camp) ... show more

    • Quality sound devise
I was looking for a decent sound devise that would play files from a thumb drive. It does precisely that. This is a quality product. It is lightweight and easy to carry with a large streamlined handle. Easy to operate. It also performs well in Bluetooth mode.

    • Great Sounding Speaker
I loved this speaker, the sound quality is great and the battery life is great, but after two years the charging port just suddenly quit working. This was a lightly used speaker so it was disapointing to have have to replace it so soon.
