Once it was just sitting by the edge of a lake, a powerboat came through, the waves literally threw the speaker to the lake! I ran to rescue it from the water, only to find out it was FLOATING and STILL SOUNDING (a little muffled, as effect of the water surrounding the speaker grilles, but recovered the crips sound just MINUTES after as the speakers continue sounding and drying ... I still need to see a whole day out trip where the battery runs out... it just DOESN'T HAPPEN! Very happy with this speaker ... and I've had my share of bluetooth weather-proof speakers ... seems like this is the one! ... I got it, fully charged it, and used it on top of my SUP … Main feature for me was the microSD card slot, as I want to be able to copy music files to the SD and be able to use the speaker as a standalone source (no need for Bluetooth streaming) and needed something that would be waterproof for using in the river. This is it! It is the perfect solution. Honestly it could sound louder … but having ZERO distortion even at max volume is nice. I was a bit skeptical on the “360 sound” design, adding the tweeters on the thin bridge between both ends of the speaker… but it works! It helps to evenly spread the music all over. Now let’s wait and see how much outdoors it can take. I’ve only had it for 1 week, used it for 3 long sessions, still running on it’s first battery charge!

This is my second Bluetooth Monster speaker. My first one was one of the larger models. I’ve had that one for a few years now and it still works and sounds as well as the day I bought. So when I saw this smaller speaker by Monster on sale, I had no hesitation with scooping it up. I have been even more impressed with this smaller speaker than my larger one. The sound quality out from it really great! Plenty of bass too! I think it sounds even better than my previous larger model! It is very light which makes it easy to travel with. It’s even water proof which makes it a little more convenient if you are using it near the pool, river, or lake. With the sale price, it makes this Monster Bluetooth speaker a can’t miss item.

I purchased this to use outside when I'm working out at the park, as I got tired of wearing my Bose SoundSport wireless headphones. I wanted something reasonably priced and loud for those windy days. It is really well-packaged and a nice design. It's not too big for my use and has the features I wanted. Plus it was available on a lightning deal for under one hundred. That's an incredible price for this speaker. Actually, I think the regular price is well worth it. For design, features, and price, I give it five stars without a doubt. Soundwise I give it four stars and for loudness three stars. I thought it would be louder. I realize loudness is subjective. But with all the reviews stating how loud it is, I was a little disappointed. If you're within ten or fifteen feet of the unit it's loud enough. This is definitely not a "Block Rocker." It is more like a "Street Corner Rocker." I would say it has moderate volume levels (good enough in my opion for the size). If I wanted a larger unit, I would have gone with the Superstar Monster Blaster and I would bet that would be a lot louder. By comparison, I have a vintage 1980s Panasonic RX-CT900 and it is a lot louder with better bass response and sound quality. I was considering a JBL Charge 5 or UE Boom. But having heard those outside, the Monster Adventurer is way better sounding -- louder and better bass response. So overall this is a good unit at four stars.

Purchased this primarily for a camping trip and outdoor event at the campground, though will obviously use it at home frequently. Sound is amazing and volume level is good, if not great. One small dislike is that it will start a higher volume when turned on, so in certain situations you have to be prepared to immediately lower the volume after powering up. Battery life seems close to claims, and bluetooth connects well though not with 100% reliability. Also works fantastic with either a portable USB drive or micro SD card. I am extremely pleased with this purchase for the price paid.

I'm in love with this speaker, best money I've ever spent on a speaker. It's got really decent bass and it gets really loud, for it's size, without loosing sound quality. I would 100% recommend this speaker! Monster never disappoints.

I bought this speaker back in April and had issues with it holding a charge and the volume being very low even when turned up....but the manufacturer reached out and sent me an new one and so far it works great, only day one but I'm optimistic, maybe the first speaker I got just happen to be the dud, so we'll see. I'll update after a couple months. The style is unique that's part of the appeal and the sound is great and could rival top brands. I'm going to put it to the test but I feel very confident it's going to perform excellently especially if a manufacturer is willing to stand behind their product.

This product is use mostly for outdoors (beach, fishing, backyard, etc). I love the handle fact it has a carry handle, many source for input (sd card, usb, aux and Bluetooth). I couldn’t wait to fully charge the sucker so I plugged it in, waited and few, read the other instructions (that’s a first) and hit power. Bluetooth connectivity was almost instant on my iPhone. Messed around with the volume in increments and let me say it packs a great sound. Monster you guys did an awesome job on this portable speaker. Can’t wait to crank it up.
