  • Works great on small trucks, good price and durable!
I've had these on my 01 s10 2wd extended cab pickup for around 2 years now, they have been working great so far ! I haven't had any issues with preasure issues like my last pair of a different brand ones that would loose air after going over bumpy roads loaded (I installed a new air line kit and valve stem assembly, but still lost pressure, so I believe it was the shocks themselves ) ... I usually have a few pack out tool boxes full of power and hand tools, some materials along with other items in the truck, which used to sag the rear end quite a bit, but these have kept it at the proper ride height and cushioned the suspension nicely over bumps when loaded! I had no issue with the install, they fit easily and the air lines and valve were easy to plumb in, they seem to be durable as I've had no leaks or other issues! These are a good choice if you need to haul heavy loads often, it's nice to have the option to adjust the pressure when running loaded heavy, light or empty, this way you don't have to spend a lot of $$$ for heavier duty springs and shocks that you can't adjust for load differences! ... show more

  • ‘00 S10 Xtreme (lowered)
I can feel a slight vibration in the rear of my ‘00 lowered s10 Xtreme after installing these shocks. I can now haul a sportster size motorcycle by just adding some air though so i’ll take the vibration for usefulness any day. I have hauled motorcycles with these shocks in the rear, my “truck” is 3” high all the way around so these help level it out when loaded. I put the fill valve in the bed (protected by a bed cover) near the tail light for easy access at the gas station air pumps. They did not mount perfectly it was pretty tight in places but once they’re in they don’t rub anywhere. It’s easier than a normal shock to install because they’re easily collapsable with no air but they are larger in diameter. This will be my first winter with them so i’m hoping they don't dry out or puncture. I’ll update if anything happens. ... show more

  • Good shocks to restore proper riding height.
I used these to restore proper riding height of the rear end of a 1996 Chevy S10 pickup. For stability it is best NOT to use the supplied "T" which unifies the air lines of the left and right shocks. Instead, order the AK64 dual air line kit, which installs two separate air pressure systems, preventing the shocks from swapping air with each other. Thus the shocks will help resist vehicular sway and lean. ... show more

  • Tight fit but they fit my 1999 S10 xtreme.
Boy if it were a long bed i probably wouldn't have enough tubing. But other than that it fit perfectly. Worked on my s10 xtreme and would probably work on a 4x4 also. Never had a problem within a 12 year range with the air shocks leaking and such. Great product and ride soft thats why i also added another set of bilstein shocks the the rear to make it handle like a sport truck again. ... show more

  • Great choice for lowered Colorado/Canyon
I have a Colorado i lowered 3 inches front to back, and my rear axle was constantly slapping the frame. These at just 25psi for no lift, completely stopped the slapping. Just this feature alone was worth the 50 bucks for these beauties. In addition my ride quality has greatly improved over the blown kyb gr2's i was running. Now i can throw my 550+ lb gs1100 in the back and enjoy a nice level ride anywhere i want to go. Also the installation was very straight forward; the hardest part is trying to find an accessible location for the tee valve. Now i just need to get an onboard compressor... ... show more

  • Sending them back!
The photos show a very clean white shock, but what I received were black shocks with paint flaking off. This makes me think they’re rebuilt, even though they weren’t listed as remanufactured. They look rough and not at all like what was advertised, so I’m just sending them back.

  • Smooth!
These are great riding shocks. Put these on with 3" drop blocks with beltech 4" drop springs on my S10 and I couldn't believe the ride was so good! I'd recommend these to anyone dropping an S10 pickup.

  • Uplifting Experience
Work great on my 2003 Blazer. I have a mobility scooter I carry and an electric hoist installed in the back which is a good amount of combined weight - the rear of my truck started to sag and it had a "worn" look to it. These shocks brought it up to the normal ride height and I can adjust them if I carry more or less weight. Installation was just as any other shock absorber except for the air lines. The plastic compression nuts used can be touchy, so take your time and DON"T tighten them too tight. ... show more
