I love, love, love these mugs. The colour is absolutely gorgeous (perhaps not quite as dark green as pictured), but I was already very familiar with the artichaut colour from other pieces, and these fit those exactly, of course. They are so well made and robust. My sister has the same set but in Marseille, and she tells an anecdote of her toddler throwing one of their mugs against their enamelled Red Wood coffee table, and the coffee table chipping but not the mug! I haven't had anything quite that dramatic happen, but I can attest the ombre is beautiful and the lip design and handle are so well thought out. It will forever be my go-to coffee mug ... show more

Holds heat very well, while keeping the handle cool enough. Glaze is thick and almost flawless; also easy to clean. Coffee and tea stains wash off. It does have a bit of heft to it, but not overly so for me. It's stable and doesn't feel like it wants to tip in this shape; bottom heavy.

They feel durable and well-made, with a nice bottom-heavy design that gives them a sturdy feel in hand. The size is perfect for everyday use, whether it’s coffee or tea. The only small downside is that the handle isn’t the most comfortable for one-handed holding, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
