As a gardening enthusiast, I have always been on the lookout for innovative ways to bring out my plants' full potential. When it comes to indoor plant care and hydroponics systems, lighting is crucial in replicating natural sunlight conditions that promote growth, seedling development, flowering or blooming stages of various species. That’s why I was excited when Monios-L T5 LED Grow Light crossed my path! After owning the product for many months now and using it consistently on a daily basis with different types indoor plants including herbs like basil, lettuce; flower seedlings such as marigold or petunia to name few. The 4FT Full Spectrum Sunlight Replacement LED Grow Light has been an absolute game-changer for me! The high output integrated fixture is a powerful tool in my gardening arsenal that provides the right amount of light, evenly distributed across all plants under it's coverage area (which I found to be quite generous). The 60W LED technology ensures energy efficiency and reduces electricity costs. Moreover, this Monios-L T5 model comes with a rope hanger which makes hanging easy in any indoor space without occupying much room or creating clutter around the plants. However, there are few minor drawbacks that I've noticed while using it for an extended period of time: 1) The power button is not very sturdy and can be a bit tricky to operate at times; also sometimes when you turn off/on multiple lights in quick succession the sequence gets mixed up. Secondly, there could have been more detailed instructions on how far away from plants it should ideally hang for different types of indoor plant species - this might vary based upon their age and growth stage which can be a bit confusing initially; but after some trial-and-error I figured out what works best! Comparing to other competitors in the market, Monios-L T5 LED Grow Light stands tall with its high quality performance. Other products that I have used previously either lacked efficiency or were too expensive for my budget and needs; this one strikes a perfect balance between cost effectiveness without compromising on functionality! The 4FT Full Spectrum Sunlight Replacement is truly an investment worth making if you're serious about nurturing your indoor plants. In conclusion, the Monios-L T5 LED Grow Light has been my go to choice for all things related with hydroponics and growing of seedlings indoors! I have been looking for some lights to use to line the shelves of a couple of 47” wire shelving units in my hydro grow room. I already have the big mama led lights in the room for the tomatoes, but these are for seedlings, small plants , and such. I ordered the 4’. It’s very light which makes it feel inexpensive. It was not packed well which led to the reflector suffering a ding or two near the end which isn’t a big deal. Also, the light bars are basically in big straws, so at the bottom (near the ding) the plastic makes a crunchy sound...which I’m not sure would impact the operation at all because it’s just the cover, but it’s a bit concerning anyway. Finally, there was a cut in the cord. I have deduced that the box was dropped causing the reflector to cut into its own cord! Amazon packed it in a box 3.5 times too big one way and several inches longer on the end! It sounds like a great warranty, but at the same time I will have to jump through hoops to get to where I should have been. That being said, I like it. Yes, it seems inexpensive, but that is actually the beauty of it. If it falls for some reason it is light enough to not do too much damage to plants underneath. It has a couple clips that go on the back with cheap jump rings attached (I would invest in rings that are more sturdy looking eventually). You could hang it from ropes immediately, and you can daisy chain them (with their own kind) with the added special connectors that are included. I plugged it in (don’t judge) after inspecting the cut in the cord to make sure it didn’t cut into wire. It was very very bright. I love that you can use one or both lights at a time. I feel like this would have been the perfect light for growing shelves. I do get frustrated at times with grow light reviews because not everyone that purchases one, gets the right one to start. It’s best to check on the needs of what you want to grow before purchasing a light. However, I have used amazon reviews to help guide me in many great purchases. I think this is a great light under the correct circumstances...if you don’t mind the shipping! Maybe order it with toilet paper or something soft? My opinions are my own. I have not benefited from my review in any way. I wish I knew how to, lol. *Update 7/23/18 After I wrote the review I emailed the seller to see what it would take to get a new cord. The seller responded within 24 hrs and drop shipped a cord from HK that just landed on my porch via DHL. It works great, the warranty is good, and I am pleased with the turn around!

This grow light has ( so far ) out preformed the expensive 8 light paneled grow light that I have, which the bulbs kept burning out. Not supposed to. I bought two of them to fit over two 4 x 2 ft. garden boxes. It fits perfectly. Easy to install and the grow light does not shine in your eyes. Even if one of the bulbs burns out, I will buy it again. I've had it about 4 months. So far, so good.

The unit is easy to assemble and so far is working as expected. I am not sure the light is any more conducive to plant growth than some fluorescent bulbs I have used. Still, the LEDs seem to do the job adequately. I think the best feature is what you get for the price.

The light is missing the hooks/clips that connect the hanging cable to the fixture. I received the fixture clips that snap onto the back of the fixture but no way to attach the cable. I had to use a paper clip. Can i get 2 of them sent to me?
