My granddaughter is in love with dinosaurs. So when I saw this, I knew she would love it. Super easy to use, just place batteries in the remote as well as the belly of the dinosaur. Once all the batteries are in you can use the remote to control it. It can walk, dance and play. The sequins is blue on one side and purple on the other, so it is also a great fidget toy, which she loves since she has a pillow like this and plays with it all the time. The media could not be loaded. I got this toy for my daughters third birthday and she loves it. It’s a very cute toy. It plays music walks around, growls. The sequins are fun so you can change the color. Just an FYI you need 3 AAA batteries and 2 AA batteries, which you might want to include if it’s a gift. This little dino is just adorable! It walks, roars, plays music and is surprisingly well made. And.... it freaked my cats out! (but it was fun to watch them try and figure out what it was! LoL) It's a shame that you need to put batteries in it, as it'd be better if it were rechargeable, but for the price it's a decent deal. The only issue I have with it is that the instructions are pretty slim. They really don't tell you much about how the dino works. And, the one thing I wanted to test, there were no instructions on at all, and that is the 'talk' function. Still trying to figure that one out. I bought it for my 3 year old niece who loves dinosaurs, she absolutely loved it. She played with it all day, it's her favorite toy now. Love how it records your voice as well. The dual colors is so cute...we are all very happy!!! Definitely recommend this toy!!!

So my tiny one's best friend is a male, and very much into the dinosaur collection thing. She has tried to be interested, but just not feeling the vibe he has for the basic green creatures. She is a flashy bedazzled type of girl, and no matter how hard he has tried to help her find these creatures enchanting as he finds them? A hard "nope" is placing a small wedge into their time of like mindset play. Then I saw this glittery, glamersouroaus! And this is all she will need to find the delight in the dino world! Now I didn't realize I needed a total of five (5) batteries. Two (2) double AAs are needed for the remote, and three (3) triple AAAs for the dino. Sadly, this has stopped me from presenting a video of the skills this glamorous dino fabulous holds! I apologize, my bad for not being prepared. But she is supposed to talk, walk, and sing along, including the repeating of words you say for it to repeat. I can see how this may go, as the tiny one will most likely engage in her dino repeating phrases such as " I need to go shopping" followed by a laughing roar, far from the roars her buddy dinosaurs bellow in dangerous tones. Lol. But I am so excited as it IS a dinosaur, although glammed out in her beautiful sparkles of pink, purple, and blue. Bridging the road back to a total friendship no longer separated as this amazing creature is all the glamorous dino she could ever find! Love this dino!!! I'm calling this my disco dinosaur since it's so sparkly with its sequins. I ordered this toy dinosaur because I love dinosaurs and this caught my eye. I'm not sure how the sequins would hold up to rough play. I love how the sequins can be smoothed one way and they are purple while the other color is teal. For those wanting to style their dinosaur, it's easy to create a pattern using both colors. This dinosaur toy requires 2 AA batteries for the remote and 3 AAA batteries for the dinosaur which are not included. There is a small Philips head screwdriver included as the battery chambers each require a screw being removed and then replaced to install/change batteries. There is an on/off switch on the dinosaur's belly on the plastic plate. This has to be on to use either the button on the dinosaur's side (walks and roars) and/or the remote. I like the remote because it's so easy to use. One control is for walking and roaring, the middle control plays a little song like the dinosaur has an upbeat piano player inside its belly, and the other button is for speaking which the dinosaur repeats back. My rating is 5 stars because I'm delighted with this. If I were seeking a sturdy toy, I would not chose this dinosaur toy. Call me picky, but I've seen one sequin come off the first day and that's me, an adult, playing with this. ... show more
