Our son LOVED this for his birthday present (4 year old). It’s really great. The only drawbacks are the noise level and durability. It is a really loud toy, which is to be expected but it would be nice if there was volume control on it. We just gave it to him at his party yesterday and there was lots of playing with it and the mouth has already stopped working/moving. It was probably played with a little too hard, but I wish it wouldn’t have broken so easily. It’s a great price though.

1. remote didn't work right out of the box 2. instructions say to 'turn on the dinosaur and then turn on the remote' There is no on/off button on the remote 3. instructions say to make sure the dinosaur and the remote are on the same channel, but nowhere do they say how to accomplish this 4. there is no 'channel' button on the dinosaur 5. the 'channel' switch has: A, B or C; however, none of those managed to sync with the dinosaur 6. lights wouldn't even come on showing power to the remote 7. changed batteries to brand new out-of-package batteries. Still didn't work. I say 'beware' because to return your item if it is defective like the one I got, you will be charged $7.99 for UPS to pick it up or else drive to a UPS or Staples to drop off the DEFECTIVE item to return it. Amazon customer service chat was super nice, understood that I live way out in the country and fixed me up so I didn't have to drive the 30+ mile round trip to return it. Needless to say, I did not ask for a replacement. I'll take my chances and try to get another dinosaur from another company and hope it works. You know how little kids just LOVE dinosaurs and this was a birthday present for my grandson. Hope I can get something fast. I selected Yes for 'was the toy suitable for the selected age' and I guess it would be if it worked.

This was a lot smaller than it looked on line. I thought the features were limited, like it only moved forward. But our 7-yr-old granddaughter loved it! It was her favorite gift at the family Christmas party!
