I have 3b/3c hair and bought this for my trip to Italy. It works as advertised both in the us and in italy (with a plug adapter). I really like the accessories it comes with including the storage bag. I found it does not snag my hair like my other flat iron which is a plus. I wish the plates were a little bigger as I do have medium thick hair. However overall I am pleased and would definitely purchase this again!

After my 10 year old Paul Mitchell flat iron finally died. I struggled with three new ones prior to this. Either no heat settings or felt like they were ripping my hair. This has a very convenient digital display of how hot it is. The paddles are smooth and make my hair feel so much better. There must be something to the tourmaline that is described, but you will have to look up that definition but I do believe it has helped. This little Italian flat iron. I hope will be with me a long time!!! Reasonably priced also!!

This straightener is AMAZING. Other straighteners I have used before work but always left my hair somewhat frizzy and my ends never got straight. This doesn't pull as it straightens and made my hair look much better including the ends.

Worked perfectly overseas with an adapter plug as it automatically adjusts to 220V. Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic plates help protect the hair. Temperature settings increase at 15 degrees and would prefer more discreet settings. I failed to see the coupon so paid full price so double-check before paying for the cart.

Pros: • Actively updates temperature reading • Heats up quicky • Cord freely moves as you do • Comes with nice accessories • Vibration helps detangle hair • Ionic technology helps reduce damage • Great grip Cons: • Button & display placement is awkward I love this hair straightener! I haven't used an 'updated' hair straightener in over 10 years. I didn't know of 'Ionic' technology or that straighteners included vibration until now. I have pretty thin and dry hair, so I rarely used straighteners and I've used so many products to keep my hair healthy. My hair never did end up looking healthy, so I decided I might as well start using a straightener if my hair is going to look damaged anyways. I'm glad I got this one! My hair actually looks a lot better now that I've been using this. The 'ionic' properties also seem to be true- my hair actually clings onto moisture better now. The vibration is also a very nice feature, it helps prevent any snagging as you glide it accross your hair. And no, it doesn't vibrate the whole time; it only vibrates as you clamp it together. You can also turn off the vibration feature by pressing the power button (holding it down is how you turn it off). The power button and display are my only complaints, really. It's awkward having to shove my fingers inside the straightener to adjust the temperature and to turn the device on/off. The product would be perfect if they just moved the buttons and display onto the top of the device instead. For those interested, it took a total of 1 minute and 7 seconds for the device to heat up to 450°F. It then took 1 minute and 44 seconds to cool down the device to 190°F.
