This was my second choice only because the first one I thought was black in the picture. Be cautious, they are rings and not hooks. I helped the handyman so he didn’t have to come down off the ladder to make it go faster and keep the cost down. I love the way it looks.

I wanted a chandelier over my tub, but decided I didn't want something that would hang down too low, so I decided on this fixture. First, it is GORGEOUS. I am super happy with it. My electrician was able to cover the old can light. I added the ceiling medallion for a little more ridiculous fancy-fancy. When we first switched it on after he put it up, I hugged him. I love this light! HOWEVER... If you are of a certain age, be prepared. Assembling this thing will try your patience, your vision, and your fine motor skills. I had to put a couple on then take a break then put more on then take a break then put more on then take a break. The little "hooks" are more like tiny keyrings. LUCKILY, they come already in the holes on the crystal charms. But getting them into the itty-bitty holes on the frame is, well, something I don't ever want to have to do again. This is not like a regular chandelier where the charms just hook on. No no, my friend. You have to twist in every single one of them. ALSO, sort your long and short bally charms ahead of time. Trust me. Long ones in the center, short ones on the middle rail of the frame. The stick ones go on the outside. Put those on last. Be sure you put them on facing the right way. Trust me. And just FYI because I didn't realize, it takes one of those little chandelier bulbs with the small screw part (called size E12), not the chandelier bulbs with the larger screw part that is the same size as a regular light bulb. Buy this fixture! Have someone young put it together! Enjoy! ... show more

Overall pleased with light. It's as pictured. Just the touch needed to the new paint and crown molding I just completed. Packaging was very good. Arrived on time. Directions were simple. Assembly was a bit time consuming. I used bunt nose pliers to help attach crystals. I ran into issues with installation. When mounting bracket was securely tighten the screws to attach the light were too short. I wanted to finish today so I made a minor adjustment and was able to install. Im a woman and installed it by myself to 9.5ft ceiling. So it was a bit of arm workout holding the light while connecting the wires and then trying to align the mounting screws.
