Expanded enough to sleep on within 30 minutes. 7 hours later it's at 13-13.5 inches out of 14 inches. Haven't slept on it yet but its really comfy. If you don't like memory foam you'll probably think it's hard. But imo it gives good supporting depth while feeling soft. And the foam rebounds very quick. So far I like it better than my old $1400 hybrid mattress I got at a mattress firm. So for $400-$450 for a 14 inch king, I couldn't be happier. Also, for foam with no additional edge support, if youre laid out you can be very very close to the edge and feel full support. Sitting on the edge is about what you'd expect but as long as my knees are at the top corner it feels like I'm sitting in the middle. As a sceptical buyer, it's a great mattress for the price! Edit after 2 nights of sleep: I work graveyard and am tired most of the time, while still struggling to sleep. I looked at mattresses for a long time because they are expensive purchases. My mattress had outlived it’s usefulness by a couple of years and I had to do something. Is this the mattress I will need for the next 20 years? No. But it is a great, relatively inexpensive option that will get me through the next few years until I can afford better. It is not as firm as I would like. Getting out of bed is a little like rolling out of a waterbed. Not nearly as soft and comfortable as the Queen sized Molblly mattress I got last year. However, for those of us with back problems, a soft comfortable mattress can mean a sore back the next day. I have noticed less back pain with this mattress, even if it’s not especially soft.

I like this mattress! It didn’t have an odor. It filled up to 10inch BUT it’s definitely not a medium firm. More like a medium. I wish it was a bit more firm but it’s a great transition mattress because of the price! It is still comfortable and it’s fiberglass free!

The bed is amazing soft and firm I got the full size 10 inch it's been 3 days since I unpacked it but it's only expanded 9 inches not the 10 i paid for that said I don't feel the Bed bored digging in my back so good on them but if I paid for 10in I should get 10 if your looking for true ten I recommend u buy the 12. Mattress did not come with a smell and once out of the package it fluffed up quickly. It does not over heat, equally soft but not too soft where it says or so firm that you need to buy an additional topper.
