As I get older I realize I need to start to hire people to assemble stuff like this but....it took me longer to disassemble my existing platform bed than it did to assemble this one! The directions were not easy to follow (especially unclear about which screws to use where - plus they were noted as numbers in one sections and letters in another. But I put aside the directions and just laid it all out and within a half hour I had it all assembled. Don't freak out when you have it done with all but the wood slats - I was really concerned about how sturdy it would be because the metal frames didn't attach to anything, but then once I put the slats on there were more spots for screws and it's completely secure! I have 2 of my dogs that like to sleep under the bed for a few hours so I am relieved it's secure and sturdy. Nice looking bed and fits my king size mattress perfectly!

I unpacked and assembled this frame by myself in under an hour. The ratcheting Allen wrench is a game changer and wrist saver! I haven’t actually slept on it as it is for a guest room, but it does not seem to squeak. Nice and sturdy. I took the advice in other reviews and put an 8” mattress on it. This leaves a bit of a gap between the top of the mattress and bottom of the headboard (see photo). I should have gone with a 10” mattress to close the gap.

Super easy to put together (I did it by myself and it took less than an hour). There isn't text with the picture instructions, but it's intuitive if you're paying attention to all the pieces. It's a good height off the ground for me personally, for some it might be low, it's the perfect height for my dogs. The support for the mattress is great considering the price and I don't notice much difference when comparing to my previous IKEA bed. Great value for the price!

This was the easiest bed to put together and it’s very sturdy. Took us about 30 minutes from the time we opened the box. All the parts are zipped up and inside the back of the headboard when it arrives. You could always store things in the back of the headboard if you wanted and we thought that was pretty neat. It was definitely made better than we expected for how cheap the price was. We will likely buy another for our daughters room when she’s ready for a big girl bed. You won’t need any extra tools either and that was nice.

I was worried the bed would be light and move around on my floors. It is sturdy and heavy enough to where is doesn’t slide around. Relieved I wasn’t disappointed!! Great bed for the money!! A couple parts were mislabeled , but it wasn’t too difficult to figure out when assembling.
