I needed a cheap and easy guest bed and this worked perfectly. It’s a little big to store, so you might want to think about that in advance, but otherwise it folds right up. Another option is to store it under an existing bed frame, if you have the space. I tried it out and slept fine - no pain or aches like when I’ve used an air mattress. Also, it comes in this super compact box. The directions say to unpackage it within 48 hours, which you don’t know until you open the actual shipping box. I think I waited 2 weeks and it still reformed nicely. If you want something inexpensive, comfortable, and easy to use - get it. I was a bit skeptical about a comfortable trifold mattress, but I needed an option, so I tried the 6" double size mattress. when I received it, I unzipped the compartments and let them expand for a couple of days before I put it back together. It expanded to a full 6", including the corners. It seemed overly firm, but upon laying on it I found it comfortable and supportive. One guest weighs over 200 lbs, and and she didn't hit the floor. Its a real mattress! there is no smell and it is sanitary. WOW! It's so comfortable and convenient. I like to spoil my guests, even if I don't have a dedicated guest bedroom. It is a hit with them because they don't feel like they're "roughing it" when they come to visit. Now, it isn't light, and storage is bulky. I bought a storage bag and in addition to the mattress, I put the mattress pad, sheets pillows and some blankets in it. Its convenient for unexpected houseguests. I 100% recommend it. ... show more

I hardly ever write reviews. The only time I do, is when a product I receive is either amazing and surpasses my expectations, or if something is so terrible that I want to save someone from making the same mistake I did. In this case, this bed is amazing. This bed has saved my back. We have a really nice expensive mattress at home but it’s too soft for my back. I got this bed hoping that I’d be able to finally get a good nights rest and not wake up in pain. This bed is like 100 times more comfortable than our $2000 mattess. I got the queen size. It’s plenty big for me to roll around or for my 2 year old to crawl in bed with me. During the day I fold it up into a couch that is very comfortable and I actually use a lot. When in “couch mode” I do need some throw pillows to support my lower back but I just use the pillows that I slept with. I went with the 6 inch mattress. I suggest this one. Even though people said that the 4 inch was still comfy, I believe the 6inch is better for the back. This bed is easy to set up. Easy to move around or bring it on a camping trip. It’s just a very versatile comfortable bed. Definitely 5 stars. If I were you, I’d go with this brand instead of the cheaper ones. This bed is made with real quality. ... show more

Just as expected, it is medium firm, and comfortable enough to use for guest or in the office during long work nights. The only downside is sheets fit too big over this mattress. I think they should make special sheets for these. Other than that, it’s just perfect. My dog tore his ccl and so he could not climb the stairs at bed time. I had to find something that I could put on my living room floor for us sleep on. I tried an air mattress for two weeks and it wasn’t cutting it for a good nights sleep. This folding mattress has been perfect. It folds into an ottoman when I have people over. The mattress is more firm than I was used to but now I love it. I’ve been sleeping on it every day for months now and it is still comfortable. My dogs seem to like it too. The price is very nice for what you get, especially when you start pricing out orthopedic dog beds. The only thing I don’t like is that one of the segments kind of pulls away from the other two and leave a bit of a gap. I would definitely buy this bed again in the future if needed. ... show more

    • Comfy but with flaws
This mat is super comfy, and I loved it, but it’s not durable. After using it a couple times, with normal use, the cover started pilling up and getting snags all over it. Then one of the seams started ripping, which was a bummer, but I was still okay with it until I tried to wash the cover. One of the zippers was jammed and in my attempts to fix it and work it open, the zipper pull came right off, and I had to cut the cover off.
