The box came in and was damaged on all corners which is okay due to how heavy the mattress is. The problem was one corner of the box had a puncture and it went through the layers of vacuum bag the company wraps it on and one area of the outer cover of the mattress had a slight puncture. After unpacking it will only rebound to a certain amount. Use a hair dryer or Iron with steam and hit all corners of the bed making it expand to the maximum. I ordered the 14 inch and was only able to get 12-1/2 to 13 inches fully expanded after rebounding the whole mattress. Not bad for the price but I am worried about the cover puncture that may rip bigger later on. Mattress is on the firmer side but we will see after a few months if it becomes softer. It was wider than the base of my bed which was 60 inches so you will have to slide it in to make it fit which is not too bad since it will hold sheets better. ... show more

This mattress inflated to the full size and did not have an odor at all. The reviews were a little all over on firmness with some saying too soft, some too hard, and some just right. So I decided to just try it. My previous mattress was 8 years old and medium firmness and it had started to lose its support. So I figured the firmness of the mattress was due to going from an older mattress to one that was brand new. However after a month it really seemed just that the mattress if way more firm than my previous one. I had about 2 weeks of back pain but I’m finally starting to get used to it. I was very pleased with this mattress. It took longer than expected for the corners to come up to the proper height but overall we are pleased. It isn’t quite 10” but close. This is our 4th bed in a box and I hope this tip helps others. I only purchase them in the warmer months. When I open them its on a warm sunny day. I only open one end and essentially let it bake in the plastic wrap a whole day. I image if you live in a humid climate this may not work as well. So far every bed in a box we've purchased has met the said thickness within 24 hrs using this method. As for comfort it states plush, but not the plush I expected. However, it gives in the hip and shoulder area where needed most as a side sleeper. Very comfortable and doesn't budge when my 200lb husband climbs in. ... show more

The only reason I have 4 stars was because I ordered a 14 inch mattress, but it keeps measuring at 12 inches. I couldn't vacuum seal it and return it, so I kept it. It is a great mattress though!
