I ordered this to protect my "New Kindle (16GB)" when transporting it in a purse or carry-on. The Kindle fits perfectly, even with the protective Kindle Case attached. It is a good, thick padding inside, and a lovely fabric on the outside. The only reason I have deducted a star is the cost... at a list price of $28.99 (sometimes reduced to $20.99) it is definitely overpriced. I purchased it during Prime Days for $14.99, and that is as much as I think it is worth. Watch for specials, and you won't be disappointed.
