  • CUSTOMIZABLE SIZING: Simply score the surface and trim your rug pad with scissors to fit any area rug size or shape. For the 3/8 and 1/2" thick rug pad options, it is recommended to trim the pad 2 short of your area rugs perimeter. For the 1/4" thick rug pad option, it is recommended to trim the pad 1 to 2 short of your area rugs perimeter.

easily popped this under a 12 foot long runner rug directly in a heavy traffic area in living room. Flooring is commercial grade thick synthetic with a smooth non-reflective surface finish. made the runner FAR LESS SLIDE-Y than it would have been -- although I do have to scoot it back an inch or so into its exact place maybe once a week. We really like this. It works really well. It sticks and doesnt move around on our wood floor. Adds great cushion under our rug. The first time my daughter walked across the rug with it under it, she stopped and said how nice it felt... and she didnt know it was there until she walked across it.

The first one I ordered was horrible. The corner of it was all wrinkled up and no matter what I would do, it wouldn't lay flat. It was very stretched out and was not squared off. I was surprised that I would receive something like that from Mohawk. I did a return for that one and they replaced it. The second one I got was perfect. It's thicker than I thought it would be and provides a pretty good cushion. It's great for the carpet that has been sliding around for years. I've tried everything else, and I'm so glad I found this.     • ABSOLUTE PUTRID ODOR THAT IS SICKENING!

I don't usually write reviews, but as I believe this is a safety issue I felt it was my moral obligation to write it. I ordered several of these Mohawk Home Non-Slip Rug Pads during January and February of 2024. The odor is nauseating. I put them outside during the day to air them out but it didn't help at all. The disgusting smell began to increase throughout my house and I couldn't get the odor to go away. I woke up in the middle of the night and had to run into the bathroom feeling light-headed and nauseous. I reported this directly to Mohawk and I was told they recently had a "bad batch," and they believed the odor was most likely caused by contaminated dye that was added to the latex for color. The smell intensified, especially while my heat was on, so I had a service call with an HVAC/Duct company. He explained that the odor from the rug pads was blown throughout my house when the heat was on and then the return vent sucked up the air sending it back to my heating system which then circulated the horrific-smelling air throughout my entire house. He cleaned and deodorized the HVAC system which helped somewhat, but the smell lingers in my furniture, rugs, blankets, etc. I have been washing everything non-stop and have sprayed Febreze everywhere. I looked back through the Amazon reviews about these Mohawk rug pads and I have found many other people complaining about the dreadful stench, and this goes all the way back to 2020. So the reason given to me by Mohawk for the atrocious odor being caused by a "bad batch" that recently occurred is not only unacceptable but complete hogwash. I contacted the EPA as well as filed a complaint with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission about this issue. It is well known that VOCs, Volatile Organic Compounds, are found in many products, including rug pads, and can lead to poor indoor air quality causing numerous issues including respiratory symptoms. VOCs can be carcinogenic to human beings. I have been nauseated, dizzy, and cannot get this sickening odor out of my house. I have tried using strong mouthwash, chewing peppermint gum, and drinking peppermint tea but I cannot get that horrific smell out of my nose or respiratory tract that has come from these disgusting Mohawk rug pads. I am grateful to Amazon for refunding my money for the four Mohawk Home Non-Slip Rug Pads, but I am concerned that nothing was done to resolve the real issue, the safety issue of these rug pads. I recommended to Amazon that they take the rug pads off of their site immediately and I am hopeful that they will. I recontacted Mohawk yesterday, March 18, 2024, via email, sending them the Amazon reviews with odor issues as far back as 2020 and the response I got was, "This was from 2020 and these people might have some kind of "allergy" that make them more sensitive to certain things." They have swept the rug pad odor issue under the rug. No pun intended. I am extremely dissatisfied with Mohawk and will never purchase anything from the company again. ... show more

100% amazing, will not slip and lasts forever. Best on the market for me and easily trimmed. I wouldn't put down an expensive rug without one, it will double the life of your rug and keep your home safer. A little pricey, but if you catch a decent sale, buy one.

Used these under our ruggable-like rugs in our kitchen and they work perfectly to keep the rugs in place and give a bit a padding. I may attach velcro under my rug to attach to the pad if I find it's needed, but so far, this is working great as is. Easy to cut to fit my rugs too!

Very happy with this purchase! The rug pad was too large for the rug that I ordered, but it was very easy to cut with scissors (I just used a large level and a sharpie to draw the line then cut with normal craft scissors). The part of the rug pad that touches the floor has a rubber feel so it sticks to my LVP with zero sliding. The part of the rug pad that touches the rug is a scratchy fiber material which clings very well to the bottom of my rug. It definitely made my rug much more comfortable to walk on. The rug pad itself is a dark gray color. I will be buying more when the time comes and would recommend this product! ... show more
