The thermostat does as indicated. Problem is that if you need support, you can't get it. Sure they have a support page, but no one monitors the messages. So good luck when you need help.

Looks great and works well with one exception....you may have to modify the reading of it's temperature sensor. My wife and I notice that the temperature on the screen did't really feel like what was happening in the house. It wasn't and there is a way to modify the sensed temperature by inputting a delta. Not hard but it was just an extra step. Don't put the additional sensor that comes with it too far away as the signal only goes so far across a room (and not across the house).

The unit is nice looking and easy to control once you go through numerous steps to get it to connect to your wifi network. Physical installation was easy, but the initial setup was difficult. After a few tries, I finally got it but I was just about to give up. The app has you pick a device to install and to find this thermostat on their list, you have to look under Small Appliances. On my iPhone, there were three thermostats to choose from, and if you choose the wrong one, it will not connect to your system. My menu showed BLE, BLE+WiFi, and WiFi. The correct one was WiFi. After messing around for about 40 minutes, I was connected. So far, so good - now the bad news - the unit shows a temperature 4º below the actual room temperature. Unfortunately, there is no manual calibration on the unit. So, if this doesn't correct itself, I will be returning it. In the photo, there is glare, but you can see by the comparison thermometer that the actual room temperature is 80º, while the unit shows 76º. That is not acceptable.

While not a learning thermostat, it has enough control to make it more than sufficient for all users. Install is easy. May be a bit confusing if your HVAC control board has an O/B wire as this is not clear in the manual how to connect if you’re using the c-wire adapter. You CAN CORRECT TEMPERATURE READINGS IF THEY ARE OFF. There is a menu item to adjust the offset if it reads 72 degrees and your test thermometer reads otherwise. Additional Sensor works only within 9 feet so don’t try putting it far away, it’s more of a “gimmick” as the temperature is likely not that different a few feet away. The only grande that’s missing is the ability to set the fan mode within the schedule (I.e auto or on). There is a workaround if you create a manual routine (scene) to set the fan mode at a certain time, and back at another time (if you like the fan on while you sleep but auto the rest of the time). Works with our heat pump ac / heat system. We had no c-wire on our old thermostat, but the line to it had an extra wire not being used, so I attached it to the c terminal of the hvac, which already had another wire there likely for the a/c pump, and this does not interfere.

Ok, the first review is perfect! He said after install the temp is way off! His was 4 degrees off bu mine is about 6-7. I will be calling tech support to see if we can calibrate if not i will give them ben if doubt ant try another if still off i will go with honeywell

Thermostat readings not accurate sensor and room temperature show 4 degree hotter then what thermostat on wall reads. Constantly off by for degrees have to adapt and adjust all your Temp by 4 degrees to reach desired comfort level.

The media could not be loaded. I would not recommend this thermostat at all. The sensor doesn’t connect. The instructions are not as clear as the Honeywell devices I purchase. Stick with what works, Honeywell!
