This coat is lovely! Love everything about this coat except the sizing. I’d seen similar remarks so I took fresh measurements with my sewing tape measure. I was at the smallest number for the XXL, including the “hem” which I assumed would substitute for hip because of where it hit. I usually wear a XXL, 5’6”, 215#. It was uniformly tight throughout. Probably could have zipped it up but would have felt like a sausage and didn’t want to take a chance on breaking the zipper. I’ve had the two way zipper before so already had experience lining everything up exactly so no problem getting it zipped up. The key to unzipping completely is to hold the two pieces of zipper together at the bottom and slide the hem on the other side up. It will slide right up! It is a little heavy when you just pick it up, but ok once on. So warm and cuddly. Relieved that they had the same color in 3X still available.

I Really like this coat. It will be great for a winter outdoor event. It is true to size for me. I ordered a size L and a size XL so I could decide which fit best. I kept the size L which I normally wear. And the color, red, is beautiful. It’s more what I’d call a berry color, not a red-red

Love this coat. It was 20 degrees and this coat kept me warm. I had a thin cotton sweater under it. It is soft and cozy. Great for cold weather. I did not notice a smell. I got the grey and it looks great. It fits snug which kept me warm. The hood kept the wind out. Side note: If it's over 50 degrees outside you will burn up in this coat. I wore short sleeves under it and was still sweating trying to look cute.

Okay, I took this coat to Iceland in January, so I will give pros and cons below. This is a warm coat, but there's two important things to note: it is NOT waterproof in the rain, and and it's not down, but still a puffer. Pros: This coat is definitely warm. I was wearing many layers but felt very protected against the strong Iceland wind. It's an excellent cozy windbreaker! It's also roomy, so if you need to wear a big sweater underneath, plenty of room underneath. The hood is soft and detachable, and can tighten if you need it to. Also it has many pockets for storage, they zip up well, and the pocket in the front is great for your and phone (and flashlights and snacks 🤣). The inside pockets are also nice. Lots of room! Cons: Totally not waterproof. I originally thought it was, because I literally ran it under water from the sink and it didn't get wet, which is awesome. Unfortunately it didn't hold up at all in the rain, and sort of became a wet and heavy cover. I was wearing many layers, I didn't get wet underneath, but it took some time for it to dry for the next day. Pretty unfortunate, as my phone was zipped up in the outside pocket , and got totally wet. The zipper is pretty finicky. You have to wait until it clicks into place for it to zip up. That's fine if you're not in a rush. Overall - if you live somewhere dry, or you can open up an umbrella without wind carrying it away, it's a nice coat with layers. If you live somewhere rainy and windy, buy something else! I'm happy I have it, but I def won't be wearing it in the rain.
