I purchased this jacket for my mother. She desperately needed a new one and I knew she would need one that could keep out the wind, was lightweight, and water resistant. This fit the bill. I originally ordered a large thinking it would be standard sizing. I didn’t notice that the manufacturer had measurements listed and that they were different from standard US measurements. So that’s my bad. I returned it and ordered the next size up based on her measurements. It fits perfectly and she loves it. The color of the jacket is exactly as pictured and the price is fantastic for the quality you get. It’s a really good jacket, just check the measurements first.

The light blue color is pretty, the pockets are large, and the coat does feel windproof and warm. The quality seems very good. The cons: I ordered a large, my usual size, and it was snug around the hips. I definitely could layer under this coat. The pockets are unnaturally high. I had to lift my elbows parallel with my shoulders to put my hands in the pockets. And...the large, high pockets just aren't attractive. Fix the pocket issue and you have a winner.

I love this jacket! I had no idea it had so many pockets and I felt like inspector gadget being able to store my gloves, neck warmer, money, car keys, and chapstick all in different pockets well disguised. I went snow tubing in this jacket and having layered, it’s definitely windproof and waterproof. A couple things that bugged me but not enough to return the jacket: the hood is massive and you’d need a cone head for it to fit snugly just pulled up. But if you secure it around your neck with the Velcro, it comes together in such a tight circle you almost can’t see anything but what’s right in front of you. My daughter and I died laughing at howI looked and had to turn side to side when I was wearing it that way. Another thing is that when you do secure the jacket all the way to the top, I dislike the pressure against my throat and would leave it unzipped to just under my neck. I’m 5’6 and 128lbs and the sleeves fit well and securely. The size fit well regardless of layering up or not. It also wasn’t overly bulky or heavy, especially if you leave off the hood.
