Purchased to run a CPU intensive studio/playback application (Ableton Live 12). Computer meets all needs so far. Purchased on Prime Day... price point for computing power and feature set is outstanding. I do wish the USB-C port was on the rear of the device rather than the front face, but that is purely due to my own compact setup and desire for "wires" to be consolidated in a particular way. I'd buy another, planning on buying another for redundancy. The build quality seems sufficient... and certainly for the price point this is a lot of computing power in a small package.

So as a mini office PC this really shines. It does really well with loading office and moving between relatively large files in Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Image editing was tested in Gimp and Inkscape and it once again handled those results pretty well. I was unable to duplicate there posted results in Cinebench. Not even remotely. Not sure what they were doing, but as you can see from the posted image, my Cinebench result is over 10000 less than what they list on the product page. Intel's i7-12700H may be possible of posting those kind of numbers, but not in this box. I ran the test through multiple iterations with negligable change. I ran three 3D Mark benchmarks: Steel Nomad Light, Time Spy and Night Raid. The scores in the images above were respectable, but not as great as I would hope given that 'Game' is part of the product name. Overall, the integrated Iris Xe graphics performs well on modern games with graphics on the slightly lighter side. With settings in games turned down to mid levels, the BosGame P2 compares well in its price range. If your looking for a pretty good productivity machine that can also play some decent games, this might be for you.

I was delightfully surprised at the competence of this tiny little candy box of a computer. My sister was so amazing she had me order one for her the moment she saw it. I use it as a dedicated machine permanently connected to my Icom IC-7300 HF radio. For that purpose, it works just fine. I then remote desktop to this machine when I want to play radio.

Exceptional Performance for Money. Use it for CAD and FEA applications. Before using the computer, make sure you clean the system files. I detected many corrupted files and was scared because Windows security could not detect them; Norton 360 did. After correcting the system, the computer runs faster.

The BOSGAME mini PC is a remarkable piece of technology, combining substantial power with a compact design that fits seamlessly into any workspace. Unboxing the BOSGAME mini PC, I was impressed with the secure packaging, which included a power adapter, an HDMI cable, and a straightforward user manual, making the setup process easy and efficient. The version I ordered is powered by a 14-core Intel i7 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. This configuration ensures it can handle a variety of tasks effortlessly. The inclusion of WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 provides fast and reliable wireless connectivity. A standout feature for me was the dual RJ45 ports. With the 14 cores available, I was able to run a Linux VM for the Pi-hole. Assigning the VM its own port via the dual RJ45 ports allowed me to place the mini PC in the middle of my network chain. This setup, with my LAN connected to one port and my WAN to the other (connected to my Fiber ONT), streamlined my network management without the need to update all computers and DHCP to a specific IP address. The mini PC also boasts a variety of ports: 4 USB 3.2 ports, a USB-C port, a DP 4K port, and an audio output. The abundance of USB-A ports was especially useful, as I often find myself running out of USB ports on other devices. I connected the mini PC to a wireless keyboard, mouse, and an HD monitor, and the performance was seamless, with no noticeable lag even when multitasking. Pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro and free from unnecessary bloatware, the mini PC provides a clean and efficient user experience. It handled resource-intensive applications better than my current laptop, making it a reliable choice for both work and everyday tasks. I also tested the mini PC's gaming capabilities. While it performed well with games that have low-end graphic requirements, it struggled with high-quality graphics in triple-A titles. This makes it suitable for casual gaming but not for those seeking a high-end gaming experience. One thing to note is that heat can become an issue if the mini PC is pushed hard, likely due to its compact size. I found it beneficial to place it in a cool spot or to use a fan to help with ventilation. The compact design is a huge advantage, eliminating the need for a bulky tower and reducing cable clutter, which helps keep my workspace tidy and organized. Additionally, the mini PC is highly upgradeable, with two RAM slots supporting up to 32GB each and the ability to expand the hard drive up to 4TB in each slot. Overall, the BOSGAME mini PC offers excellent value for its price, combining robust performance, extensive connectivity, and a sleek, space-saving design.
