I looked at every jacket under the sun to find one that had several features I wanted and initially I was super skeptical because this coat was fairly inexpensive. I had looked at North Face, Patagonia, Columbia and all of those costs are super nice but expensive and didn't have ALL the features I wanted. I love the length, this coat is substantial, but skimpy at all in quality. Great side zippers, front double/2 way zipper along with snaps, waist cinch, detachable hood and great sleeves. I love it and would purchase another in a heartbeat. It's super warm, comfortable and also stylish! I just love it and I'm glad I took the gamble and bought it. Quality is great! Price was right. Zippers seem durable. I looked them over carefully after reading reviews. Having two-way zippers in front and on the sides offer a variety of movement. It’s very warm. Pockets are plentiful and placed for comfort. I’m very pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend! A word of warning: I feel the sizing runs small. This might be the best coat I've ever owned! I sized WAY up and it is lovely!! Wore this out in 18 degree weather with ice and snow, perfectly warm under coat! The hood is huge, can be removed, coat has numerous pockets and a waist drawstring that is very adjustable (cinch tie). The black to me looks great and it's definitely stretchy enough to fit sweaters underneath. Only con I can report is it is nearly impossible to zip and unzip. I NEEDED lots of help with that but I am also 5'3 and the coat comes down to my lower legs. Other than that, best dang coat ever! ... show more

Jacket is really nice and long. The fleece is not in the arms nor down the whole jacket but it warm. The zipper unfortunately broke right out the box from side slit. Sizing is a bit weird and front zippers wasn’t as smooth as it should be but those zippers are sturdy. I’m returning for bigger size and hoping zippers are better than the one I got. Only gave it 4 stars due to zipper issues. I order the Army Green and it’s soo nice and the fur around hood is really nice as well ... show more

I ordered an XL, because my experience with puffy coats is that they run so snug I can't move, or breathe, or wear layers. This was the best possible choice, I really didn't want black or blue, so this graphite, gray color is perfect. It goes with my red scarf. It will go with my purple, my pink, my green, and all my colored gloves. It's also a perfect match for my new winter boots. And if I wear my ski pants for extra warmth, the coat still zips. I wore it the first time on the night of December 21 when my friends and I decided to be fools and brave temperatures in the teens to enjoy an outdoor Christmas event. I did not get cold at all. The front pockets are great. I can go in from the side, but that is not secured. I may add a little strip of Velcro. Going in from the front, the snaps keep everything secure. The pocket inside the jacket is the perfect size for my cell phone. The cloth cuffs inside the sleeves are not snug, so I may end up doing a bit of stitchery to snug them a bit tighter. I am 5 foot nine and 170 pounds, and this coat covers my knee. The only difficulty I am having is with the zipper. You really need to concentrate to get it seated properly in both the up and the down zipper settings. Though to be fair, my hands are affected by an illness. So I always have to concentrate. And carrying it around the store was not like I was lugging a heavy weight. ... show more

I usually don’t love buying coats online, because fit is so important. But I bit the bullet and ordered this one because I was looking for a truly warm, waterproof winter coat. Boy, did this deliver! The blue color is so pretty, and the fit is great (I did go one size up to account for sweaters). The hood is large enough to cover even when my ponytail is taking up space. The sleeve cuffs really do keep wind out, and the amount of pockets is fantastic. The crazy thing is how warm this keeps me outside, while not making me feel like I’m suffocating in my car. I live in an area with reasonably mild winters, that alternate really cold day stretches with really warm day stretches. But the cold days are often wet, which is so miserable, and the waterproof aspect of this coat really helps. ... show more

I love this coat!! Perfect length, love the side zippers for ease of getting into or out of vehicles. So warm and the “fur” lined hood is extra warm while walking the dog in inclement weather.
