Warm with a tee-shirt in 15F last week. Waterproof and the hood fur kept the rain out of my face....though the fur was soaked! Very comfortable. I'm 5'6", 140 lbs. I bought a large as I didn't want to worry about what I was wearing under it as it was to be my everyday coat ... for dress I normally buy a medium. Cons- 1. The rain dripped down the coat and the 3 inches above my knees were soaked. (I liked the coat enough, and walk enough..I give city tours..., that I also purchased the longer version, under the knee, for really cold rainy days 2. The pockets are large but not well lined, and there is no inner zip pocket 3. The zipper is tricky to start, and the snaps do not hold very well, I think I'm going to hit a couple with a hammer The coat has been a great purchase for Buffalo this year

I received the coat today in time for cold front that is giving us 30's and 20's at night. The fur trim is nice and fluffy and silky feel to it. The hood is fleece lined and warm. I like the stand up collar which is also lined and keeps the wind and cold out. Nice large front pockets but aren't lined. The inside chest area and back are fleece and the rest is down and quilted. The wrist have ribbed cuffs which are nice and comfortable All and all it's a nice warm coat. The only thing I don't like is the zipper can't unzip all the way and I have to step in and out of it. The other thing is the elastic in the is snug even if it's unsnapped. I'm 5' 8" and 155 lbs. The XL is a prefect fit and the hood large and covers your face love large hoods This coat is a keeper and good buy for the price.

I love the look of this jacket--the rich blue color and black-trimmed hood are elegant. The slightly longer length and furry lining are good for warmth. As others have noted, if you want to wear thick layers underneath, maybe size up. On the other hand, the waist snaps are adjustable, so I can wear a cotton shirt, thin sweater, and fleece jacket under the jacket with no problem. The zipper & snaps close right up to the chin, which keeps out the cold, but the fabric is a little stiff around the chin. I'll try it with a scarf to add some padding. One other helpful feature is that the zipper can be opened in both directions, giving you more room for walking.

I love this coat and I like how it is not extremely puffy. It keeps warm in 29-50 degree weather. I don’t necessarily think you need to size up because I did and it still felt loose even with a jacket underneath, but do what makes you comfortable. However get this jacket and yes the zipper is a little off but it’s not that bad. It still zips up when u align them together

Love this coat fits great and oh so cozy. The hood is perfect and shields my head from the cold and wind. My only gripe is the zipper. I feel it needs an instruction manual just to figure out how to work it. Thankfully it has a button closure as that’s the only way I can close the coat. Once I figure out the zipper I’ll update.

Pros: knit cuffs; strong zipper; snaps all the way top to bottom; lovely fluffy fake fur on hood; hood, collar, & half of inside coat lined with fleece; adjustable hood strings with metal tips to prevent unravelling; cut of shoulders & waist show a bit of your shape; very warm in cold weather Cons: runs a bit small ( I usually wear a size medium but the large just fits with not much room left over for layers underneath); bad design of pockets (you must stick your hand under the flap from the top down and there is no side entry to pockets plus they are not lined with fleece- great quality everywhere except the pockets).

I’ve been through several coats in the past few years that either don’t fit well or start to fall apart. This size XL coat is well made, not too bulky, very warm, the hood stays on my head in bone chilling windy weather, has multiple pockets and a nice smooth 2 way zipper in case I need to reach a pocket underneath it. Oh and the shade of grey is exactly what I was looking for. I hope to wear this for years to come.
