They are very firm and seem a little bit delicate but the overall look and feel is really modern and seem like they will last a while. Only problem an issue is mine came defected. I'm very pleased with the couch! The color is gorgeous and it's quite sturdy! It's an excellent buy for the price. It's not the most comfortable sofa but it's well worth the cost.

The loveseat was easy to assemble and the single cushion is moderately firm. The arms could be sturdier. Considering the style, color, size and comfort, the loveseat is worth the cost. Note: the loveseat is for occasional use, not everyday.

I ordered this sofa hoping to do a mid-century modern make-over on the cheap/reasonable side, and after looking over reviews, Modway definitely seemed the way to go. The sofa arrived today, and I have to say, it went WAYYYYY beyond my expectations. The color (teal) is absolutely gorgeous, the style is perfect for the mid-century modern look, it's comfortable, and it's extremely easy to assemble. Can not recommend this sofa enough! ... show more

Although the sofa had no defects and was easy to assemble, it's shorter in height than expected. Also, it did not come in secured plastic, just a piece of thin foam wrap. I think the price should be lowered on this sofa as well. I initially gave this sofa a decent review above, until I discovered bedbug eggs on it. It had been sitting for only 2 days. It was delivered the morning of April 3rd. On April 5th at 8:30am I noticed beige dots on various parts. I was told they were bedbug eggs, by a Rep at Eradico Pest Service. Thank goodness I have a balcony, because that's exactly where it went, until I shipped it back. Obviously, before First of a Kind shipped it from their warehouse, there were bedbugs inside. Creeped me the heck out and angered me at the same time. I've never had bedbugs in my life. First of a Kind is giving me a hard time, because they want it in the original packaging. I should have known something was not right, because it was placed in a box without any plastic covering, what I am used to seeing. I did not keep the slightly dirty box, tossed it. First of a Kind wants to charge me restocking fees, if it isn't returned how they sent it. The company wants to possibly resale it. Please DO NOT accept if it is delivered without appropriate covering and decent box. They need take a loss on that infested sofa. ... show more

I’ve had this great loveseat for two months now and am so happy with it. It is firm, but not to much and very comfortable. I’ve even napped on it (I was curled up and pushed the bolsters aside, since I’m 5’8”)! The size is perfect for my space and I love the color! The picture was taken without a flash, but the color is as pictured on the site. I put it together by myself and it was fairly easy but could have used an extra person at one spot for ease and faster time. Directions were super easy and make sure you note that the back cushions and other parts are zipped inside the bottom. I love the one cushion bottom, so there’s no center “slide in”. I made a point to find one like that - it’s not as easy as you’d think. Very happy with this purchase and this brand. ... show more
