The package arrived on time. Before purchasing them I read over some of the reviews. The first is the fit I am Five feet nine inches weight around 150. The area that you measure was approximately 16 inches. According to the fitness chart I could either use the small or medium size I choose the medium. The brace stays in place surprisingly a couple of times it felt like it fell down some. After checking it still was in place. I’m a CNA on the run a lot and on my feet a lot. When you have the brace on it does provide compression to the area it covers. Some reviews indicate that it provides relief after a few days of use. As I mentioned it provides compression which you feel. This maybe an odd thing. Let’s just say that you have a headache all day long. You’re a carpenter you accidentally hit your finger with the hammer. All you your attention is focused on your finger Even though your head aches is still there. I’m wondering if the same thing happening. The brace is well made it’s not noticeable under my scrubs. Two come in the package which is good. There wasn’t any noticeable perspiration from wearing the brace. It comes with an owners manual the washing instructions are easy to understand cold water and don’t use fabric softener. It has to air dry. It comes in various colors. The brace doesn’t have any effect on the range of motion. As always thanks for reading this review I really hope that it’s helpful. I bought this to keep the swelling down in my knee following a surgery (ACL reconstruction). The only suggestion I have is when paying attention to the measurements to determine your size, think about how swollen your actual knee is. I purchased the size based on thigh measurements and it was way too small for the amount of swelling in my knee which restricted my movement and was rather painful. I went up a size and it was much more comfortable, while still doing it's job. Easy to wash (I throw mine in the delicate cycle and let it air dry), although it says to wash by hand. But overall very helpful keeping the swelling down. ... show more

Based on their measurements I am at 16.25 to 16.5 inches. So I went to a medium per the instructions. They helped, but I still had some knee issues. I bought a different brand...they were terrible. I then ordered the Modvel small. It worked great and I bought a second pair. So I give it four stars because they suggested the wrong size. I really do like the smalls. At the gym, it helps so much. I just do cardio, no heavy lifting. Just wish they got their sizing right. The mediums still work for walking etc, I just don't wear them to the gym since the smalls work so much better. ... show more

I've been trying to get into a routine of walking my dog but I have a bad knee. The day after I walk my knee would be swollen and stiff. My knee felt immediately better as soon as I put on these sleeves. They make my knees feel so good that I want to walk! I just ordered a 2nd pair so I can wear one pair while I'm laundering the other. I can see that I will be wearing them a lot. Bought these for support as we have been doing lots of bike riding - read the reviews from others to make my decision. So I figure to where them a few times before commenting. So very nice, well made quality material, comfortable to wear - upon other reviews for sizing as I was right between sizes - did go a size smaller - great choice and they DO NOT SLIDE DOWN OR ROLL DOWN!!!!!     • Finally, a knee sleeve that IS a knee sleeve! No hard plastic around a not-my-patella shaped hole...
Size: XX-Large Color: Nude
...and no straps that make me look like an octopus got me and still don't keep the "sleeve" in place. Because ouch. I just need light compression for a little extra stability and support, while I continue to avoid knee surgery, and this sleeve is providing exactly that. We are sweltering in triple digits where I live, so I was concerned about how much heat the sleeve would add, but it turns out it only adds enough heat to help bring the pain level down without using a heating pad or thermal patch. I'm so happy with this product! I wanted to give it 5 stars all around because it is perfect for me, but I didn't want to suggest it provides heavy-duty stabilization and support. It is very wearable. And "range of motion" does make it slip, eventually, but it is easily readjusted since it doesn't have to be taken apart, just tugged a little. I don't know how long the material keeps its compression, yet, but the price is very reasonable, AND since I only need it for one knee, it came with a spare. I can't speak to how much support it would offer an actual athlete, but I can happily recommend it to other seniors like me, who are just looking for a little stabilizing of the knee, a little support. After trying a few products over the years, I bought these and several weeks in there is noticeable improvement in a recent painful flair up. They are breathable, soft, firm and stay in place all day, literally all day and you will forget you're wearing it. I'd buy again.
