This bed is gorgeous. The chenille is very pretty. It is soft and not stubby. The pillow headboard is very comfortable. I had to watch the instructions video a couple of times, which was very helpful. I would say, it is not difficult but time consuming. It took me about 8 hours to complete. I put it together alone. The drawers are plastic, but, sturdy. Perfect for lightweight items, such as, linen and shoes. The instructions are OK but could be better. There are many pieces to assemble. I would recommend using an electric or battery screw driver. I used the tool included, but, switched to an electric screwdriver towards to end and it went very quickly. Customer service is awesome. I looked at beds at crate and barrel, CB2 and John M Smithe. The quality is the exact same at a fraction of the price. Similar beds were all priced at $1000.00 or more. Nice bed. I’m really utilizing the drawers! I put it to together by myself, however, it is much easier if there are 2 people to put it together. The first step is a little wonky, pay attention to which was the legs are facing. Don't make the same mistakes as I did! Otherwise it’s a nice bed.

Quality is very disappointing! Assembly is easy but the fact that the headboard is not fully covered with the beige fabric and can’t be used without the big pillow it’s a total drag. The drawers are really bad! I was trying to avoid products with the metal mesh drawers …I thought these drawers were wood or something like that. Instead it’s some weird see through plastic wrapping wiggly metal. I don’t like that because of the sizing and the hassle of repackage and return I’ll have to keep it. ... show more
