  • Great book with a lot of information!!
Format: Hardcover
This is a great book. I would have to agree that it goes into great depth in somethings and not so much in others. As far as HVAC goes, this book is very good at explaining the details of every system. I am not interested in refrigeration as much but if that is what you are looking for, there is really good detail about that as well. My only complaint is I wish they would make it in PDF form. Being almost 1300 pages and a hard back book makes this thing a GIANT so I don't really get to take this to work with me to study over it. I would recommend this book for anyone that is looking to self teach or needs it for a class. ... show more

  • It's phenomenal!
Format: Hardcover
There's in fact none to all, from the very first page to the last one, it's well detailed. I recommend for all hvac intermediary Fellows even for hvac mechanics, it's soaked with all information with what you need to know about hvac trade. Buy it, read it and reap the harvest in much folds.

  • Holy freaking crap!!
Format: Hardcover
Holy freaking crap!!! This book is fantastic, especially for the price. My husband is in a HVAC program that uses this book across multiple classes. It is very comprehensive and it even includes a section on resume writing and career prep. Seriously, we've spent more money on 50 page paperback "textbooks" that end up being useless. You won't regret actually purchasing this book over renting. ... show more

  • Worth having one in your shop library
Format: Hardcover
This is the definitive book on refrigeration as applied to HVAC field work. I used this for exam prep, skipping the silly stuff like “a career in HVACR” and glancing over electrical theory and math. There are things that they could dump entirely, and things they could abridge and cover elsewhere, but the book has been compiled in such a way that it’s a textbook and curriculum presentation in one. If you’re familiar with continuing ed classes where an instructor reads slides of the course material for 8 hours, you’ll recognize the structure. ... show more

Format: Hardcover
Cost of the book is ridiculous but it’s the world we live in. Other than that this book has tons of info. I’m ready to go for my license and I wish I bought this book earlier you could learn more from this book than trade school
