  • Worth the price.
Color: Charcoal
Saw this chair at a grandchild’s Little League game, and was quite impressed. When I looked up the price I about fainted. However, I ordered two of them, and they are worth every penny of it. it is one of the most comfortable chairs I have sat in. Sets up and folds up very easily. It is very sturdy and a much better height, hence easier to get in and out of for older folks. Very solidly built and appears that it will last a very long time. ... show more

  • Expensive but Works Well
Color: Navy
You pay for what you get. I paid $300 for this chair. That is an insane amount of money for a folding chair. The chair hold firmly together. I am nearly 300 lbs and I have no concern about this chair failing. It comes with a backpack bag. Getting the chair in the bag is not always quick and easy but once the chair is in the bag, it is easy to carry around. The chair has to locking systems to hold it firmly in place. The first, behind the chair's backing you press down and lock the back of the chair. The second, you press the arms down simultaneously and this locks the legs into place. To release, you pull up on the backing of the chair lock using the handle. To unlock the legs, you press the release buttons on the handles. It's pretty easy once you see it from a video or try it a few times. It has a holder for a drink which functions nicely for holding a phone too. The quality is high-end. This is an excellent chair. I did not want to spend so much on a chair but I figured, if it lasts 3x longer than cheaper ones, is super comfortable (doesn't sink in the seating), and will endure for years to come, then it's an investment I'm willing to make. Yeti does price gauge a lot. The Yeti products are high-end but border on absurd and greedy IMHO. Enjoy the chair. ... show more

  • Great folding chair but very expensive
Color: Charcoal
I think every review I've seen notes the very high cost of these chairs, but the quality of this chair is unmatched. Every detail of the chair is well-designed. The material is very high quality and comfortable. The chair folds up very easily, and stores nicely in the included zip-up bag (which also includes a very handy shoulder strap). The chair is sort of heavy (much heavier than your standard camp chair), but manageable. Some taller folks have commented about it being uncomfortable for them, but me being 6'1" and 225 pounds have no issues with comfort - it's extremely comfortable to sit in all day long. My wife being 5'9" also sits comfortably all day. The cup holder is nice as well - it's oversized, and can hold just about any size mug or cup. If you can deal with the price to get a couple of these, they are really nice chairs that will probably last a lifetime. ... show more

  • It's heavy, but it's easily the best portable chair out there
Color: Navy
Not much more to say. I'm 6'4" and weigh 220, and this thing is solid as a rock. It's big enough for me to be comfortable. Love it. But it is not light. Factor that in to your plans.

  • Insanely expensive, but...
Color: Charcoal
This thing is outrageously expensive for a camping chair. I have spent less on living room chairs. But - it is hands down the best camp chair I have. Feels like you're sitting in a chair made for adults. Comfortable. Sturdy. It's not lightweight - I wouldn't want to haul this thing over hell's half acre....but, for car camping, it's worth making the space in the car to bring it along. ... show more

  • Had planned on returning until I tried it.
Color: Navy
I bought this because I have back issues as and issues with sciatica, and the camp chair I had was making both conditions worse. It was also difficult to get out of because of the lack of supportive arms. I had tried out many outdoor collapsible chairs over several months and I knew I wanted sturdy arms and a chair that did not take up much room in my small SUV when it was packed with camping, beach, and/or hiking gear. I bought this chair to try it out, I have many YETI products, I know they are expensive but they usually are worth it. I figured if I did not like it I could return it no problem, which definitely was what I was going to do not wanting to spend $300 for a chair. Then it arrived, I tried it out and I was sold it was definitely not being returned. I have taken it on many excursions since. It is stable on rocky terrain, sturdy in beach sand compact enough to keep in my SUV for outdoor sports and music/food events given this time of COVID. It is great to be able to be a spectator while still social distancing. The chair is comfortable not causing pressure points and easy to get out of, however I do think that it should have two cup holders. It would be nice to have a small table but that might be a hinderance in packability. ... show more

  • Heavy but otherwise great....
Color: Navy
This is a premium camp chair--over-engineered but in a good way. You wouldn't be looking at it for its price unless you know that Yeti products are exceptional but expensive. So be it. I can afford the best and as a big, older guy who attends soccer and baseball games for grandchildren it's going to make a world of difference. The last thing I want to do is crumple a flimsy, aluminum camp chair that my 130 lb wife thinks is fine. It's easy to set up and is rock-solid strong. I can push off to get up and it's just high enough from the ground to make that easy. Even the carrying case is exceptional--heavy-duty with a strong zipper. At 13 lbs, it's going to be heavy but manageable to carry on my back with the two shoulder straps. If you can afford it, you won't regret the purchase. ... show more

  • Lazyboy at the campsite
Color: Charcoal
Pricey as heck, but overall worth every penny. I'm short (5-8) so my wife got me the Yeti Hondo chair. Shes tall (5-10) so I got her this chair as it sits higher than the Hondo. She loves it. Both are very comfortable. Not a backpacking chair or something youd want to carry too far, but perfect for the camper & camp site. ... show more
