With patience assembly is not difficult but takes time. “Light gray” is as pictured. We appreciate the drop-down table, with cup holders and charging ports. One customer praised it for its “deep side pockets” but might have been praising a different sofa since we haven’t found any yet. While the product description lists it as gray, I found that it leans more towards a beautiful blue hue—perfect if you're looking to add a bit of color to your space. Came in three large boxes, slightly damaged during shipping but no damage to product. Fabric is soft, bottom cushions are very stiff. Pillows and back rests are soft. Assembly was easy. Took about an hour to unbox and assemble. Some small pulls in fabric here and there and the seams for the side pieces seen to be pulling apart. Very small imperfections just being 100% honest. The couch sits high and you feel slightly tilted forward on the section without the chase. Once you pop up the ottoman up it is very comfortable to lounge on. I'll update the review after a few weeks of use. 9.11.24 UPDATE Couch is very small width wise. I'm 5'9 189 pounds and laying down on it normally, it feels like I'm going to fall off. The chase is very short and my feet almost hang off the end when sitting normally. I wouldn't buy this for an everyday, all the time use. If you are looking for an occasional use, place for guests to sleep, this is probably an OK option. Also, the usb and usb-c ports are terrible. I plugged my USB - C cord into it then into my phone and it said check your cable because there might be a problem. Tried another cable, same thing, barely charges the phone. Large, just what my family needed. The firmness does not bother us. It will stay firm longer. We love the pull out bed and the chaise. All four of us hold comfortably on it whether sitting or lying down. I thought 2 back rest were missing at first. However they are just hidden under the corner piece. The dark grey looks a bit like navy blue which is perfect since we were first searching for a dark blue couch. My husband says it was a piece of cake to set up. Love this couch for its functionality and it is the perfect size for our office/den setup. With the low price, I was keeping my expectations low. However, with the ability to turn into sleeper, blanket storage, and flip down cushion with cupholders and charging ports it exceeded my expectations. We ordered the lighter Grey, and while we are fine with it, you should know the bottom cushions are stiffer than most couches. Very easy and quick to assemble. It’s a nice sleeper sofa for the game room. It was easy to put together,came in large boxes. The boxes that it came in all had scuffs and small rips.
