If I could give it 0 stars I would. I’ve put together a lot of furniture. This was the worst of it. Instructions were not clear, and we had to restart several steps. At some point, we had to get a saw to remove some wood so a piece would fit. It came with so many chips in the fake wood, that it looks 3 years old already. This bed was perfect for my India-themed bedroom! I read a review that said it was a piece of junk. I wondered if they might be using it on a daily basis. I bought this for a very small guest bedroom, so it won't be used daily. That may make a difference. My husband put this together. He said it is very sturdy and well-made. However, it took him 6 hours to put it together. There are no written directions, only pictures. He said some of the pictures were hard to tell which parts were which and which screws or bolts went where, hence the 4 rather than 5-star review. He suggested that if you buy this, have someone with you who can help. Additionally, I highly recommend you get a 4.5" mattress rather than a 5". That's what I bought for this bed, and once rolled up, it fits nicely. I feel like a 5" mattress would be a bit of a struggle to get tucked away. If you measure to ensure your mattress fits, I think you'll find this makes a nice piece to use occasionally for guests. ... show more

    • Don't expect it to last a year.
This thing is a piece of crap and I wouldn't expect it the last a year. I told my fiance today that we'll just use it Until It Breaks to the point that it's unusable and then we're just going to throw it in the trash. I did a lot of research on Murphy Beds and they are all made like this. There are none available online that are any better. I think what I'll do after this one gets tossed is spend the money at a actual furniture store and get a really nice one and it's going to cost several thousand dollars. It's either cheap to the point that you can only use it for a year or spend gobs of money. ... show more

I really wanted to love this but it was a huge misteak. The quality is poor at best. I feel like it will break down in about a month or two. Looks just like the picture but its cheap for sure. The bottom drawer needs to be takrn out to use the bed for support. So its going to strach for sure. I wanted to send this back but there was about half a day of putting this together with instructions thats where like reading another languae . A lot of guessing . And once finaly assimble i couldnt waste another half day taking apart to send back in the mail. To be honest just the assimbly should have been my red flag. But i really wanted to like it.
