    • Almost Impossible to Wire
So I have had to uninstall this several times and am still trying to get all the sockets to work. There are too many wires to combine in the way that they have designed it. Rather than running a continuous loop where you can connect the socket wires in line, you must try to combine all 11 wires together. I have rewired, separated the wires in to (2) bundles with a splice cord and now need to remove it again because there is one socket still not working. I will try separating them into (3) to see if that works better. The threaded rod to attach the fixture to the canopy is barely long enough to attach the two parts so the connection is fussy if you over screw the bottom part. It requires complete disassembly to adjust the wiring so it is frustrating to have to keep testing . The sockets also twist when installing the light bulbs which does not help with the wire connections getting detached. Pretty poorly made, but it appears good when installed. ... show more

The instructions for assembly were practically non-existent. Good instructions would have made this decent light fixture a good value. The correct screws necessary to mount the trim plate were practically hidden in the box. It was necessary to wrap two sets of TEN bare wires and secure with a wire nut, which required 5 attempts and a few frustrating hours. You get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Truly flush and looks good for the money
We just finished out our walk out basement and this light is perfect for a modern look. We needed a flush light for the music studio and for the price, it's really nice. This could work well for a hallway or bedroom where you need a flush light.

Pros: Price- pretty good value for what you get. The fixture is pretty light which means it's not very high quality. Since you won't be touching this fixture it really doesn't matter. Weight: easy to hold up while installing Looks: simple design, black and gold looks nice paired with gold plated bulbs. Cons: Installation: I've installed many many many fixtures. The pre stripped wires doesn't expose enough copper that you can safely put a wire nut. I had to strip another 1/4 inch off each wire. That's 22 wires I had to strip. I was okay doing this because I have the tools but average consumer will have trouble if the wires are not stripped back more. Safety: with out stripping back more wire and making a secure connection some consumers may have wires falling out causing lights to go out or cause electrical issues. Overall good value if you can install it properly. The half gold bulbs (qty 10) cost most than the fixture. ... show more

Lo malo: de las 10 luces que tiene, 3 no funcionaron (30%) y no se trató de armado sino de defecto de fábrica.     • Mostly works - one light doesn't always turn on
One of the bulbs turns off randomly and we've tried swapping bulbs. It mostly works and looks decent otherwise. We had removed and checked it multiple times. Might be faulty wiring, however it was hard to diagnose.
