Love this fireplace. I haven’t gotten to try out the heat function yet, as I’m in Florida and we haven’t hit our cold stretch yet. But I love how cozy and beautiful it is. It’s exactly what I wanted! I put it together by myself, so it can be done, but it was not easy to do. Some of the parts are pretty heavy and hard to hold and fasten the screws at the same time but I love how it turned out. I’m planning to add a wood top, eventually, just to dress it up a bit but overall very happy with it. ... show more

It’s absolutely gorgeous. We turn it on everyday (not the heat). Husband put it together, easy but time consuming for him. He caulked some of the seams, braced it to the wall. It has made our house so cozy, we turn it on every morning, watch the news and drink our coffee. It has several different colors of flame and rock, but we really only like one orangish fire color. I guess it would be cute to use the green or bright red during Christmas. It came with some little logs, but we did not put them in ..we thought it looked better without. A little bit pricey, but worth every penny. Does not look cheap. 10/10! ... show more

Update: 30 some days in with Amazon and the third party seller and still no refund on this unit. I keep getting told to ‘wait’ and that it’s my only choice at this time. I have never experienced this type of issue with Amazon before…I am sick because I am so afraid I will not get my money back on this, there’s no one that’s actually helping and I don’t know what else to do. Do not buy this item. The quality is extremely disappointing for something that costs nearly $1,800. I ultimately chose this unit because I thought it was beautiful and loved the size. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from the moment it was delivered. The item arrived on a semi truck, and the delivery window was 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, meaning you essentially have to work from home or take an entire day off just to receive it. Depending on your driveway, the driver and pallet jack can also damage the packaging during delivery. In my case, the bottom of the box had a large hole that wasn't visible because it was concealed by the pallet. After unpacking it, I discovered the hole had caused a deep gouge across the front of the unit. Rather than deal with the hassle of waiting for another shipment, I decided to assemble it anyway. That turned out to be another major disappointment. None of the cam locks would engage with the cam screws because the screws were too short. My family and I are very handy—we've assembled countless pieces of furniture and have even built custom furniture from scratch. This should have been one of the easiest assemblies since most of the unit comes prebuilt. All that's required is connecting the left and right sides with the top and bottom. However, because the hardware wouldn't engage properly, nothing pulled together tightly, leaving gaps and an overall poor fit. To the seller's credit, they have been responsive, although they typically reply only at night, making the resolution process take several days. First, they asked me to write "DISCARD" across the front with a black Sharpie, photograph it, and said I could keep and dispose of it however I wanted while they sent a replacement. I complied with that request. Now they've informed me they also want me to completely disassemble the entire unit and take additional photos before they'll move forward. At this point, I find that request excessive. I've already provided detailed explanations, multiple photos, and spent far more time and effort dealing with this than anyone should have to for a product at this price point. The material itself is heavy-duty, which I appreciate, but that doesn't make up for the poor quality control, damaged delivery, defective hardware, and frustrating customer service process. Spending $1,800 on a piece of furniture should not come with this many problems. Overall, this product is not worth the money or the headache, and I would not recommend purchasing it. ... show more

    • Stunning piece, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Is it stunning? YES! Impressive? YES! But honestly I’m pretty peeved at the customer support, the horrible, confusing instructions and the fact that THEY GAVE ME THE ENTIRE INCORRECT HARDWARE!!!! I was utterly beside myself when the piece arrived. Two of us started to decode the instructions as we laid out the heavy pieces. We started to assemble it and nothing was right. The clamps would not spin and lock around the screws. We tried other sections, nope, took it apart and removed all the screws and meticulously removed the clamps. Which was a b*tch!!! Baffled I put one section together and shown a light into the hole where the clamp was supposed to tighten around the screw. NOT LONG ENOUGH. I had to go to two different ACE hardware stores in TWO different cities to buy the correct length as Lowe’s and Home Depot don’t carry those type of crews. So the almost $2,000.00 fireplace cost me another $60 in hardware and at least $30 in gas. Not to mention the sheer frustration and time! I tried calling customer support and got nothing. Wrote an email that wouldn’t go through time and time again (after being sent for 4 days before being notified it wouldn’t go through.) After all that, am I happy with the piece? Yes. Would I buy it again? Absolutely 100% NO! The piece gets five stars all day. But I’m giving it 2 because of losing my time, more money and out of pure frustration. Beautiful fireplace!!! Looks almost like a real one. Puts out heat and warms the living room. It was a little challenging putting it together as the instructions needed more elaborate details. Overall, worth every penny!!!
