It is this if you're comparing it to a hundred dollar rugs made for ornate living rooms but for the little money I spent on it I couldn't be happier. In all honesty, this really was a steal for the price & how it can impact a room. My only gripe is that it’s not easy keeping it clean. The carpet fiber length felt great on the feet but in a matter of months, it gets worn down and eventually loses its eye appeal. It’s difficult to keep clean simply using a vacuum cleaner and I’m not even going to attempt trying a steamer cleaner. The other thing to consider is color. The light grey shag I bought ended up being more of a blue color scheme than gray. That’s just how it can go by purchasing online so I don’t hold that against the manufacturer, and besides, if you’ve ever tried painting in gray, chances are you’ve experienced this as well. Yes, it’s pretty and soft. Too shaggy to clean with a carpet shampooer and you should NOT machine wash it. My cat immediately peed on mine and I tried to wash on delicate and lay flat to dry, but the “fur” separated from the backing and looks so bad I threw it out. Very disappointing and no I do not recommend, unless of course this is for a neat freak with no kids, pets or messy people in the house.

The media could not be loaded. I literally just got it and set it in my living room. It looks great, its very soft and comfortable! It is pretty thin, not like your usual area rug so be ready for that. Being that, it has a lot of creasing from being folded up in its packaging. I am hoping it will relax on its own. The "fur"? is definitly not 4inch tall lile it shows in the ad. I'll post a pic of the height and creases. IF the rug relaxes flat, i will be happy enough to not return it but if it does not, i just cant live with that.
