I am someone who loves to do my nails myself to save money. These kits are well worth every penny. I bought several of them and always create swatches for my powders because you never really will know what the colors look like until they are on. The only negatives I have found with the kit is that a lot of the colors across kits are duplicated numbers but different colors, leaving it hard to actually tell which number correlates to which color. The other negative is that you do need three coats to really get the color you want, leaving for a lot of filing being needed because it becomes thick. The wear of them is amazing, pictured in the first image is my nails after a week and a half. I highly recommend these kits, even though the powders are small, they are well worth the price you pay for how many you receive in the kits. I just wish you could purchase the colors individually once you run out and not an entire kit.. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this product yall. I was very impressed with the pigmentation of the beautiful blue I used. This was my very first time doing Dip Powder!!! I went on YouTube and followed a tutorial. It took me about an hour per hand the first time. By the time I did my sister's set, it took me 30 minutes per hand. I am not a nail tech, nor do I have a lot of experince with doing nails. The DIY dip Powder kit is beginner friendly, fun, the colors are bomb, and it's a huge money saver. You can do Dip Powder over your natural nails like I did here or you can do it over an acrylic overlay, which I did on my sister who was also very impressed and excited. I know this is a long review but I am beyond satisfied and I will be purchasing more soon. 1 years worth of Dip Powders for less than $30 and the results are truly amazing. ... show more

I really like the color and quality of these powders. The liquids do have a strong smell. I recommend using outside if you are sensitive or looking for another brand. I use the powders with a different brand liquid.

Never going to the nail salon again. I bought this kit with low expectations as dip powder nails can be hard to do yourself, even the salon messes them up! But as the prices of manicures keep going up I knew I would need to learn to do my nails myself. This Is a great little kit is has everything you need - keep practicing my first time around they were a little uneven! But I love doing my nails now and it only takes me about 30 minutes. I’ve used three colors so far. The hot pink color is great and pigmented. In the photo, my first 3 fingers are 470 and the last 2 fingers are 478. This is 3 coats of dip powder on each finger. You almost can’t tell the difference in the two colors. 470 is translucent and doesn’t match the color on the product page. 478 has tiny white speckles in the pigment, but it is more opaque than 470. So 2/3 colors that I’ve tried so far are duds. The kit does come with everything you need. You have to be careful dipping your nails because the pots are narrow and small. I like the cuticle pusher it came with. When I painted the hot pink color, I followed the instructions exactly. My nails were pulling up after about 4 days and one completely fell off on day 6. Idk how people get these to last a week or longer. ... show more

It does take some practice, and the more you do the better you'll get. The yellow/blue (did 2 layers of the powder )was the first time I did it and learned a little about what I should do for the next time. I'm a teacher and they lasted a solid 2 weeks...and I am really rough on my hands working with preschool. The 2nd purple/teal (3 dip powder coats) just done today, and already feel it is going to be better this time. ... show more
