First off, the packaging label qr code took me directly to this via the Amazon app. Then there's the exceptionally excellent packaging that the actual product is in. Open that up & there are installation instructions included. There is an installation tool, as in the description, the (5mm to 3.175mm) motor shaft adapter & 4 additional grub screws! This all comes hermetically sealed in a tough mylar type resealable bag. So no issues of rust on anything! Then there's the actual pinion gears themselves... Beautifully machined & each gear has the tooth count & pitch etched into it with a high contrast color. I have not even installed these on my Typhon yet & I'm already impressed! I will be purchasing more pinion gears from this seller for my other RCs with a different pitch. I'll update this review after I've installed & ran the RC a few times. ... show more

The set screws for the gear are not flat at the bottom like they should be it was frustrating I did not understand what was going on so I had to take another rc car pinion gear off and try to understand why I was having issues the manufacture should send me a who new set with the right flat bottom set hex screws my car was down for week and a half trying to figure out wtf was going on ... show more

Functional. As advertised. They mesh fine with traxxas brand mod1 spur gear. used one on 5mm shaft and another on 3mm shaft with adaptor. Working so far. What else is there to say?
