Description

VS4-10 Phoenix Portal: The VS4-10 Phoenix Portal is the first platform to feature the Vanquish Products VFD Twin transmission (patent pending) and F10 Portal Axles. This combination provides performance advantages never before offered in a scale kit of its kind. The VFD Twin incorporates Selectable Overdrive Shifting and a 3-position dig unit into one compact package. The molded F10 Portal Axles utilize a high clearance design which minimizes the size of the pumpkin and maximizes clearance around the C-hub and knuckle. Connecting the VFD Twin to the F10 Portal Axles are the ISD10 driveshafts. The ISD10 Driveshafts have machined CV style joints at each end with molded splined shafts between them for smooth and efficient performance. I was about to give up and order elsewhere but this kit finally arrived today and all looks GREAT!!! At first look I would have given a 5 star rating but time will tell.     • Overpriced
This feel this kit is over priced for it's class. The kit was missing some hardware for some of the steps. The instructions are not very easy to understand for someone's first kit. They are mostly pictures without any explanation for what task you need to perform. The shocks are fairly cheaply made and the preload adjusters flop all over the place on the shock body. The tires are so hard I would almost put them on par with a department store type r/c. There are better kits for less money. It does look pretty cool though. ... show more
